Highlights

Amman Enjoy 3-nights in this ancient capital city. Your first day in Amman will be at leisure for you to enjoy the sights. On the second day you will take a city tour of Amman, visiting the Citadel, Temple of Hercules, Byzantine Churches and the Archaeological Museum. You will then visit the Baptism site of Christ in Bethany and continue to the Dead Sea before returning to Amman. On the third day, you will first drive north to Jerash to visit some of the well preserved Greco-Roman relics. Here you will enjoy a Roman Army and Chariot show. Upon leaving Amman you will visit Mount Nebo, the burial site of Moses, offering incredible views of the Holy Land. Visit Madaba, home of the most famous Byzantine mosaics and continue to Kerak to visit the Crusader Castle. Petra After leaving Amman, you will drive to Petra for a 2-night stay. Discovered relatively recently and estimated to be over 2,000 years old, Petra is considered one of the 7 wonders of the world. Known as "The Rose City" you will enjoy a horse carriage ride in this famous city, through which you will enter through the fascinating narrow gorge, known as the Siq. During your visit you will take a 4x4 ride to visit the desert Wadi Rum. Wadi Rum Spend a night at a Bedouin camp in Wadi Rum for a truly authentic experience. Here you will be awe inspired by the incredible rock formations in this desert site. Aquaba Enjoy a one night stay in Aqaba on the Red Sea. Visit the city to tour the old castles or perhaps discover the coral reef in the Golf of Aqaba. Dead Sea Enjoy a 2-night stay at the Dead Sea. Here you will visit the Baptism site of Jesus in Bethany, one of the most significant of religious sites in the world. While at the Dead Sea you must also experience the thrill of floating in the high salinity of the Dead Sea.

Highlights

Pafos Enjoy 4-nights in Pafos, situated on the southern coast, this is one of the largest cities in Cyprus. Pafos was the capital of Cyprus for 600 years and the archaeological legacy of Pafos is such that UNESCO put the entire city on its World Cultural Heritage List. While visiting Pafos you will have tours on two days. On the second day, you will travel through the mountain villages to Throni to visit the tomb of Archbishop Makarios, afterwards you will visit Kykkos, the island’s largest and most spectacular monastery completed in 1092. The next day you will continue to visit other villages including Omodhos, known for its wines and lace work and Kakopetria, a charming village full of culture. During your time in Pafos, make sure to admire the famous mosaics at the house of Dionysus, pass the ruined castle of Forty Columns and the Aposle Paul’s Pillar, where the Apostle is said to have been flogged when he and Barnabas brought Christianity to the island. While in Cyprus it is important to try the traditional meal, ‘meze’, and make sure to sample one of the many outstanding varieties of Cypriot wine. Lemesos Spend 4-nights in this beautiful seaside town, home to many cultural treasures. After a day of leisure, you will visit the current capital of Cyprus, Lefkosia (Nivosia), the only divided capital in the world. Lefkosia is a bustling European city offering excellent shopping to visitors. An optional visit to the Archaeological Museum will provide insight into the islands’ rich 9.000 year history. The tour then continues by Venetian wall, the gate of Famagusta and the monument of Freedom. Continue on to the picturesque village of Lefkara known worldwide for its lace and silverware. The next day you will travel eastwards to the seaside town of Larnaca, via Khirokitia, Cypres’ oldest Neolithic site dating back to the 7th millennium B.C. Here you will visit St. Lazarus Cathdral and will also have some free time to relax by the Palm Promenade. The next day will be at leisure. Take the opportunity to visit the Lemesos Castle, the Medieval Museum, the Folk Art Museum and the Colossi Castle. Take a walk along the miles of beautiful beaches or visit lush municipal gardens.
