I did two trips with TucanTravel so far and I'm sure to do more. "Vic Falls to Cape" last April and "Jewels of Sri Lanka" this April were great experiences. We had amazing tourguides, everything was arranged perfectly and we saw every main sights. Also the prices of the trips are really good for all the things you get for it. I would also recommend TucanTravel for People from German speaking countries (like me), who want to improve their English during the trip.

Travelled with Tucan a few years ago, Delhi to Kathmandu. Loved it so much that I am about to do another trip with Tucan this Nov, Cape to Gorillas. So excited, nearly time.

Just completed 34 day Gorillas to the Falls trip with Tucan and cannot recommend highly enough. Outstanding itinery, equipment, driver and tour leader. My wife, myself and three adult children travelled together and whilst an overland trip is no easy task, I had 34 spectacular days exploring East Africa. I'm a 54y/o and everyday was a highlight.
Tour Leader Leah was a cheerful, knowledgable and great people person whose organisation was first class. Truck driver Joash is simply an outstanding character and the Mercedes Trucks Tucan use put the other tour operators a step behind.
If you have ever thought of over landing in East Africa I can not recommend Tucan highly enough. I could give you highlights of the trip but you would;t have the time to read that much. If you go you won't regret it.

I went on the Peru Explorer tour and loved every minute. The organisation of the tour was second to none, accommodation was of a good standard for a budget tour and the guide was amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I would definitely recommend Tucan

The most unorganised tour, always changing our itinerary, changing our meals provided to not provided, truck break downs a lot, rooming list is messed up with ages and same people stuck in a triple share......never booking Tucan again

Nepal is easily my most favorite destination in the world! This trip was amazing, getting to see Everest and trekking to Gokyo were the highlights. 

The Peregrine guides are brilliant and took this trip to the next level with their knowledge and expertise.

Just completed this morning when our private bus dropped us all off at Verona Train Station. Sad to say goodbye to our fellow tourists and our excellent guide Roberta.

First tour of the year, the weather included a few grey days, but we scored big when the sky cleared and the stunning scenery of the region reached its full potential. The jackpot was the crystal clear day when we crossed the Maloja Pass to St Moritz, walked to the glacier at Morteratsch, threw a few balls of crisp, new-fallen snow, and took the Bernina Express back over the border to Tirano. OMG, the scenery was incredible!

The steep mountains, picturesque villages and blue waters of Lakes Como and Garda were thrilling to the eye as well. We dined at lakefront restaurants, explored historic villas, walked along woodland paths under fresh spring leaves to glorious outlooks, touched mediaeval walls, drank fresh spring water and local wine, and learnt about the food, the customs, the history and the wildlife of the area.

We were lucky with the other tourists. We all got along well, and as the tour progressed, the lunches and dinners became less reserved and more fun. We laughed a lot and enjoyed each others' company.

Our guide, Roberta, was superb. She kept her eye on the ball, and our comfort and convenience was her first thought. When things went wrong - rain on a mountain track, a local bus timetable change, she was able to arrange alternate activities.Her humour, her knowledge, and above all her open, thoughtful heart made this a five star trip. She really cared.

She worried a little over her English, but honestly, it was fine. The occasional mispronunciation - talking about a wildlife program that reintroduced "beers" to the forest, for instance - was charming more than confusing. 

The hotels were excellent. Big rooms, filling breakfasts, astounding views from the lakeside balconies, hotels with character and charm. The private buses were (mostly) spacious and comfortable. One mountain road demanded a smaller vehicle, but who am I to complain when the sixteen tourists, guide and driver occupied an eighteen-seater bus? The drivers were skilled on the often tight roads, in fact, we often applauded their abilities.

We also walked, but it was a walking tour, after all, and the pace was never overly fast, the paths never too steep, the distances never too long for we middle-aged and senior travellers. We also got to see a great many sights denied to those depending on cars and buses and trains.

My only real complaint was that it was too short. I guess that means I'll be back for another tour.
