"A year ago my family and myself took a sailing trip to the Greek Islands. We hired a skipper named Reinhard Fallbacher (Ray) for the trip based on a recommendation from a respected and dear friend but also based on his reputation and experience as an Edelweiss Tours team member. Regretfully, although the trip itself was very good and under the most friendly and cordial environments, this man was not accountable for the cash advances we made for the trip. Firstly, he never gave us an account (of any kind) of the trip’s expenses in terms of our deposit, as agreed upon. Secondly, he never returned the money that we were owed from our deposit (upwards of 1,500-2,000 euros). Thirdly, and perhaps worse of all, despite our many friendly and amicable attempts of sorting this matter out through email, WhatsApp texts and even phone calls, Ray has avoided for more than a year. I sincerely wish I wouldn’t have to involve Edelweiss Tours in this situation but I thought, both the company and fellow adventure seekers like myself, should be aware of this person’s behavior. I believe the tourism industry is based on trust and reputation and I felt compelled to convey this situation to others. "My group of 23 patrons arranged an 11 day trip to Hawaii which also included a stay in San Francisco and Grand Canyon. Of those 11 days, 3 of them were arranged in such a way that our airline flights were booked in afternoon and nothing was arranged for the morning. When we inquired about these gaps in the schedule, we were informed that we should “just relax on those days”. We were never informed of check in times so we were often rushed in the afternoons. We arranged several excursions through your company at great expense but none of them were arranged correctly. Most days comprised of a Burger King lunch or preordered tacos. What happened to the “delicious cuisine” we were promised? We requested a trip to the Shiv temple. All we got was to see the outside because your company didn’t bother checking to see if appointments were needed to tour the inside. We were told there would be whale watching but no arrangements were made and when we inquired about that, we were given a ridiculous amount of excuses. We arranged for a trip to Napa valley. Once again your company failed to check on your requirements and didn’t make reservations, therefore we couldn’t tour any winery and just spent 20 minutes walking around outside. I am absolutely disgusted with your company and after spending thousands of dollars with you, I expected an elaborate vacation. I would have been better off arranging my own flights and hotel and having the hotel concierge arrange our excursions. We will never use your company again and we will be sure to publish this exact email on social media."

"Chile Nativo’s service from booking to final drop off was fantastic! Really great value. We were a small group of 6 trekkers and you provided great tents and gear. Our guide, Armando, was extremely knowledgeable and experienced in the park. With 20 years guiding experience he was still very professional and engaged with our group and clearly very passionate about the area. It’s a fantastically beautiful place! I would definitely recommend Chile Nativo to anyone looking for a quality, authentic Torres del Paine trekking experience."
