"We booked a trip to Italy with Sky Vacations and could not have been happier with the results. We didn’t want to do the usual tourist visits because we had been to Italy before. They designed a trip that took us to Umbria and Marche and Lake Bracciano and it was great. We wanted to stay in luxury, smaller hotels, do cooking classes, wine tasting and some touring and every item was executed perfectly. We’re now booking Greece with them. A great company we highly recommend."

We were sadly disappointed but still tried to enjoy the experience. Rooms were dirty, food were often buffets and other group dinners with some food inedible. We noticed other tours staying in our hotels and paying much less for their tours. One positive was we never touched our luggage which was nice but my small suitcase was damaged during one transfer. "My husband and I recently returned from a magical few weeks in Ireland. When we planned the trip, we had some concerns. Overland took all of our worries away and we had a fabulous trip! -Could we really see the highlights of Ireland in just 10 days? YES...Our tour guide, Breda, told the story of Ireland as we travelled the backroads and highways to tour the entire island. Her knowledge of Ireland was quite extensive and her she is a fantastic storyteller. When someone asked a question, "Well...there's a story in that answer". She even went out of her way to make my birthday special! She picked up a cake & had hot Toddy's for the group! - Should we just rent a car and do it ourselves? NOPE! Breda took the wheel and we could relax and enjoy the countryside. We even dozed off here and there. I would NOT want to drive those narrow roads! She brought us to so many unique places that we would have NEVER found! - What about the weather in Ireland? Well, bring layers...lots of layers. And, if it rains...just wait a minute...it will pass. - Will we feel rushed on this tour? No...Breda did an amazing job of gently nudging us along from one site to another. Consider it a recon mission...take good notes on where you want to return! HIGHLY...HIGHLY recommend this tour. Ask for Breda...she made it VERY special!!!"

"Ok, it was at the end of the Covid crisis…BUT…no excuse for long hours on the bus with no movies, no discussion of our surroundings or fun facts/background on the areas/attractions that we’d see. Nothing at all regarding the Erie Canal. Not enough time at sights (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls). Bus driver took an hour driving all around the area before he could find where to park for the Henry Ford Museum. The Village was closed to us the day we were there for sanitation. We got to Niagara Falls very late and by the time we finished dinner, we could only glimpse a part of the falls from a good half mile up river. Never went to the vineyard at all, because a storm came up. The only part of the trip that went as planned was when we were actually on Mackinac…that was great! But, not good enough overall to ever make me want to use Tours of Distinction again. Plus, the company never even apologized for all the missteps."
