Classic Poland Itineraries

Poland in 1 Week, Highlights

One week in Poland, you will visit four of its most spectacular and well known cities. You will be transferred by train to Warsaw, Poznan, Wroclaw,and  Krakow to experience Poland's greatest attractions.

Day 1-2, Warsaw: Enjoy the start of your trip in the capital of Poland where you will stroll through Old Town and visit the Market Square. Visit a Jewish ghetto area and the places related to the Holocaust.

Day 3, Poznan: Take a city tour to see the Opera House, the Mickiewicz University and the magnificent Imperial Castle. Visit the Freedom Square, with its 19th century historical buildings; The National Museum, Raczynski Library, Bazar Hotel and Arcadia.

Day 4-5, Wroclaw: You will experience much of the medieval history that Wroclaw is famous for. Stop at the Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice Museum, presenting one of the largest  360° panoramic battle scenes in the world.

Day 6, Krakow: Take a tour of Old Town to see the Cloth Hall and Main Market Square. You will also have the opportunity to visit many of Poland's greatest churches.

Day 7, Wieliczka: Explore the excavated chambers of the Wieliczka Salt Mine on 3 levels, decorated with magnificent salt sculptures and a salt museum.

Poland and Beyond in 2 Weeks

Not only will you get to visit the many great cities of Poland, but you will experience Central and Eastern Europe to discover an array of Europe's cities in Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, and Hungary.

Day 1-2, Berlin: Visit the Berlin wall and other historic monuments that Germany has to offer.

Day 3-4, Berlin - Dresden - Prague, Czech Republic: Visit Dresden to explore the town on the banks of the River Elbe. Try some of the tasty breweries these locations are known for. Participate in a folklore show to learn of traditional Czech culture.

Day 5-6, Prague - Vienna, Austria: Welcome to the “musical city.”Explore freely some of the architectural marvels and museums.

Day 7-8, Vienna - Budapest, Hungary: Take a city tour and bask in the Hungarian countryside.

Day 9-10, Budapest - Donovaly, Slovakia - Krakow, Poland: Stroll through Krakow's Old Town, wander the Wawel Castle, and take in the beautiful landscapes.

Day 11-12-13, Krakow - Auschwitz - Warsaw: Witness the camps of Auschwitz and the hideous crimes that occurred within. Explore Warsaw and its many museums.
