What to Look for in Brazil Tour Reviews

Most trip reviews tend to focus on some or all of these 5 key areas, not all of which may be relevant to you: the tour guide, travel company, service level, country or countries traveled in, and the trip itinerary. Remember, just because you see a 1 star review doesn’t necessarily mean that person disliked the country.

Travelers who left positive reviews of their tours in Brazil expressed the importance of having a local tour guide. Not only did this help the tour navigate Brazil successfully, it also provided a more authentic cultural experience. Cultural authenticity was important to many of the reviewers.

Because there is so much to see in this large country, most Brazil tours move at a quick pace. Some travelers felt that the amount of travel and activity in an escorted tour was not the best fit for them. It’s important when booking a tour to carefully research the itinerary and determine if the pace is a good fit. Some tours offer more free time than others.

In order to maximize the amount of time spent touring Brazil, some flights and transportation are scheduled for early mornings. Not all reviewers appreciated the early wake up time. Some travelers experienced personal mishaps, such as altitude sickness and a challenging experience with customs, which affected the rating they gave but may not have had anything to do with the particular tour they were on.

It is important to remember when booking a tour to Brazil, that you will be covering a lot of ground and sticking to the itinerary that the company has planned. That may mean some early morning travel and some long days. However, most reviewers were grateful for the amount of organization done by the tour company, and the activities they were able to experience because of it.
