Feels a bit double writing this review. On the one hand, it was a nice trip with good lodges and good food, on the other hand, the guide was not good (way too present, poor condition - we constantly had to wait) and - worst- they gave us very poor sleeping bags (too small, too cold and not breathable which made the sleeping bag damp/wet). We've indicated this several times to the organization, but little was done. What I liked is that the owner was open to our feedback. Also, the feedback is that they can do better to prevent the porter from carrying unnecessary kilos. Because of this, I give them the benefit of the doubt; 3 instead of 2 stars.

Island Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek

Selfless, hard-working and kind people from a renowned company in Nepal made our dream turn into reality by truly caring about me. I was a solo trekker and the company had two more other trekkers with whom I had to make my journey to the top of Island peak. All through the journey, we were provided with a wealth of expertise making the climb including the training session very manageable. We had an awesome support staff who were very friendly and made sure that we were safe at all times. I would recommend Himalayan Glacier to anyone looking for a memorable experience in the Himalayas.

Extraordinary trip with one of the most prominent companies in Nepal.

I would like to extend my thanks for everything that your organization did to make our trip successful. With an amazing team who made us feel that we were taken good care in the mountains, there are no words to appreciate all your efforts and dedication. The safety measures amid the COVID pandemic were handled flawlessly and beyond our imagination. We now miss you especially our climbing leader, porters and the whole crew. We would definitely want to be back to your beautiful country and explore more of Nepal and do this kind of trek with you all. Overall our Island peak climb along with a hike to Everest base camp was far much beyond our expectation. Thank you HG!

I did my Island peak climbing along with Everest base camp with Himalayan Glacier and don't have enough words to thank them for being so responsible and trustworthy. I actually forgot all about the COVID crisis that had been haunting the entire world and am simply impressed with all their efforts of the safety provisions they had placed at all required places. I definitely look forward to my next Himalayan trek with Himalayan Glacier. The guide and my porters were so amazing, simply incredibly amazing. I would personally like to thank the owner of the company Sagar who did a wonderful job and put all his efforts to make this climb successful. My trip in Nepal with responsible and trustworthy people

Climbing Island peak with a visit to Everest base camp with Himalayan Glacier was an absolutely beautiful and a memorable adventure to me. We were taken so good care of making sure we had proper training, appropriate gears and required equipment. Guided by truly professionals, it was the adventure of my life although quite difficult, they made it seem so easy. Food was good and we were provided comfortable places to sleep although we slept inside tents for a few nights. Everything was organized so well and the guides were not only nice but very careful and helpful at the same time. You made us do the unthinkable and thank you for all that you did.

It was a great experience with Himalayan Glacier on our Island peak climbing trip en route the Everest base camp. Neither my friend nor me had previous mountaineering experience but the staff from Glacier had very safe hands and plenty of knowledge and expertise guiding us up the peak and safely back taking care of all our requirements. We would happily want to recommend this company to those who are wanting to climb Island peak.
