You would need to look far and wide to find a travel provider that has been around as long as Borton Overseas. We are a proud and well-established Minneapolis-based tour operator, with a history that spans over a century.
Borton Overseas began in 1894 as Sunden, Vanstrum, and Co., specializing in steamship travel for immigrants coming to the US from Scandinavia. In 1986, Vanstrum Travel became a division of Borton Overseas, and continued to expand with land tours and cruise programs throughout Scandinavia and Africa.
Today, we are a thriving tour operator, and our programs have expanded to include South America, Antarctica, Southeast Asia, China, and India. We continue to expand our land and cruise programs as we seek out new partnerships and new destinations. We’re proud of our history, and we look forward connecting with you to plan your journey to one of our extraordinary lands!
