Embarking on a quest for perfection: The Millennium Class

In 2000, Celebrity launched the aptly named Celebrity Millennium proudly featuring the industry's first application of gas turbine engines, which reduced exhaust emissions by up to 95 percent over traditional propulsion systems. Celebrity Millennium and her sister ships—Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Summit and Celebrity Constellation—nearly doubled the line's capacity in just two years.

Culinary has always been important to us because we know it is an essential part of our guests’ vacation experience.  We introduced the concept of specialty dining to the industry with our Millennium Class and have continued to evolve our award-winning culinary offerings ever since.  Each Millennium Class ship boasts unmatched dining with the same distinctive, tantalizing dining options found across our fleet like Sushi on Five, Tuscan Grille and Qsine.

Celebrity’s Solstice Class ships take stylish cruising and impeccable service to new heights. They carry forward from the Millennium Class all that exemplifies Celebrity’s commitment to designing stunning ships and crafting inviting onboard experiences for travelers who truly appreciate the finer things.

Celebrity's Solstice Class features an industry first—The Lawn Club. It’s an outdoor, country club-like venue featuring a lawn of real, lush grass where guests can practice their putting, play lawn games like croquet and bocce ball, or grill on their own in the great outdoors at The Lawn Club Grill. Guests can enjoy a quiet retreat under the sun or stars at the Alcoves, eight cabanas overlooking The Lawn Club and amazing ocean views.

Celebrity's Solstice Class ships also are the first in the industry to utilize solar technology, with some solar panels serving the dual purpose of providing shade within the Solarium, as well as energy production.
