Rory Baker and Alan Nixon did not hesitate to choose KwaZulu-Natal as their natural backdrop for their photographic safari tours. Being professional photographers and passionate about nature and wildlife, they know that KZN offers an abundance of photographic opportunities. Imagine visiting the Big 5 game parks, waking up to the sheer beauty of an African beach sunrise or being dwarfed by the magnificent Drakensberg mountain range.

The focus of My Photo Safari is to offer a unique and rewarding photographic experience with carefully selected photo safari packages. The attention to detail in planning and logistics allows you to focus solely on your photography. The 'all-inclusive' safari packages include: accommodation, food, refreshments, entrance fees and Wi-Fi (where available).

As a photographer, you will experience opportunities to test and push your photographic skills to their limit. Our photo safaris cater for beginners through to professionals. There are a maximum of 4 guests per photo tour guide, ensuring the best attention and best shots.

Rory and Alan will be at your service throughout, guiding you through camera techniques, lens choices, composition and helping you bring your pictures to life with editing techniques. But it won’t be all work, there will be down time everyday when you can relax and enjoy the ambience of Africa. Free Wi-Fi (where available) will be provided to keep your family and friends up to date with your photo safari.

My photo Safari is an all-round photographic experience that will leave you with amazing photos from encounters with the Big 5; witnessing the life and death race of the Leatherback turtle hatchlings as they scuttle for the sanctuary of the sea; tracking, on foot, a pack of African Wild Dogs or making those once in a life time shots from air-conditioned, state of the art hides or being totally awestruck by the magnificent Drakensberg mountains.
