"I have just returned from a 12 day Best of Ghana Cultural Tour by Continent Tours. I have travelled around the world to over 40 countries and this was far the best trip I’ve taken. It was cultural, educational, historical, inspirational, and overwhelming with much joy which touched my mind, heart & spirit in such a sacred way. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and all due to the expertise of Tina Ross, Continent Tour Manager, the thoroughness of Matina Kuma, our tour guide, and safety of Samwell, our driver. From the moment I contacted Continent Tours, Tina made me feel very at ease that she understood exactly what I wanted in a customized tour. She always exercised professionalism, thoughtfulness, compassion, understanding and a sweet demeanor throughout the 9 month process before our departure. As the tour date became closer & closer I became more & more excited which was all due to Tina. To add to this, our tour guide was Matina Kuma, who had an effervescent and loving personality with her heartfelt hugs and sweet radiant smiles from our airport pickup throughout our journey until our airport drop off. She embraced my 3 companions and myself with much care, protection, respect & love as senior women and affectionately referred to us as “Mama”, which gave rise to us truly adopting her as our Ghanian daughter and genuine blessings of being family. She was very kind and generous to ensure our needs where met at all times. She had an amazing and thorough knowledge of all the regions of Ghana, its different languages and cultures which provided us with much education, history and to experience the different people of Ghana in every aspect of life. There was never a concern or fear or doubt that we were truly in safe hands. Samwell, our soft spoken, warmhearted and expert driver was very meticulous in maneuvering some of the undesirable roads to give us the best comfort. I would sincerely and strongly recommend Continent Tours to anyone wishing to visit Ghana and especially for those that desire to learn their ancestry. "In planning for a safari trip, we learned of Adventure to Africa at a travel show in NYC. We knew the countries we wanted to visit and discussed the trip with several travel companies, large and small. Adventure to Africa listened to our objectives and budget and made proposal to meet them. Others gave us off the shelf options. Adventure to Africa recommended breaking up the safari camps with visits to Cape Town and Johannesburg in a way that made the trip much more enjoyable than we first intended. The Safari camps spanned a variety of ecological areas and a variety of bush camp operators. All of the activities suggested were ideal and reservations accurate and timely. This is the first time in our travels an adviser checked up during the trip to assure everything met our expectations, much less twice. We found the recommendations made were helpful and exhibited broad and deep experience. Restaurants suggested ran the gamut from fine dining to exotic to an excellent, if humble, fish house on a pier outside of Cape Town. The Cape wine tour was excellent and customized to our needs. "This is a revision of a previously written poor review I wrote of this travel company. There was an unfortunate airline strike at the end of a 2 and 1/2 week trip to Chile and Argentina which caused great confusion and disarray among the travelers, including myself. A confusing series of communications between the local tour operators and myself led me to believe that WWQ had basically left me to my own devices to get myself and my husband home. That was not the case and I would like to set the record straight. They actually did try to make return arrangements but I was not aware of it until after I had made my own. The tour itself was wonderful, all the hotels and tour arrangements were great and WWQ did a great job organizing the tour. Their staff is superb, was always helpful during the pre-trip planning process. I would recommend this company."

"My wife and I just returned from a wet season trip with International Expeditions (IE) to Lima and the Amazon. It was tremendous: 1. The diversity of wildlife is extreme and up close and personal. 2. The vastness of it all approaches infinity. 3. The staff and guides were top drawer professionals. The IE mother ship (Zafiro) is in great condition and very comfortable, clean and welcoming. The staff is friendly, helpful, supportive, knowledgeable. The naturalists/guides are the best. Experts in the wildlife and flora and good-natured and personable. Yes, it is hot and humid, but very bearable. Yes, there are mosquitoes at night, but again very manageable. (We've all experienced much much worse in the US.) In the wet season (50 feet higher water than in dry season) you don't get to walk as much as you do in dry season because terra firma is so much further into the rain forest than you can reach in a boat. But we did get to visit villages and walk in the rain forest. We swam. We went out every morning and afternoon in the skiffs to explore smaller rivers and lakes. Sloths, monkeys, iguana, boa, anaconda, caiman, tarantula, piranha, frogs, toads, and more bird types than you can count. Wow - What a Show!"

"My husband and I booked with Expect in Africa for our honeymoon in Tanzania and had the most amazing experience! Lawrence put together an excellent itinerary for us over 17 days. We started in Stone Town, Zanzibar then flew over to the mainland where we went on safari in Tarangire National Park, Ngorogoro Crater, and the Serengeti, and we also got to see the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River in the northern Serengeti. Our safari guide Joseph was amazing and so knowledgable about the areas we went and all the animals! We also did a day hike at Mount Kilimanjaro which was such a cool experience. After that, we went back to Zanzibar and stayed in Nungwi for some relaxation and also did a Zanzibar spice tour. We loved all of the lodges and hotels we stayed at, and everyone we met from Expect in Africa was so friendly. Every part of the trip was so great, and we made so many memories that we'll have for a lifetime. I would definitely recommend Expect in Africa to anyone going to Tanzania!"
