"My husband and I booked the Yellowstone tour with Tauck expecting so much more with the accommodations, food, and tour director based on the price point. We were sadly disappointed but still tried to enjoy the experience. Rooms were dirty, food were often buffets and other group dinners with some food inedible. We noticed other tours staying in our hotels and paying much less for their tours. One positive was we never touched our luggage which was nice but my small suitcase was damaged during one transfer. "Ok, it was at the end of the Covid crisis…BUT…no excuse for long hours on the bus with no movies, no discussion of our surroundings or fun facts/background on the areas/attractions that we’d see. Nothing at all regarding the Erie Canal. Not enough time at sights (Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Niagara Falls). Bus driver took an hour driving all around the area before he could find where to park for the Henry Ford Museum. The Village was closed to us the day we were there for sanitation. We got to Niagara Falls very late and by the time we finished dinner, we could only glimpse a part of the falls from a good half mile up river. Never went to the vineyard at all, because a storm came up. The only part of the trip that went as planned was when we were actually on Mackinac…that was great! But, not good enough overall to ever make me want to use Tours of Distinction again. Plus, the company never even apologized for all the missteps."

"After travelling to French Canada from Australia and doing a bus tour my partner and I (65 yrs old) started our 7 day rode around Prince Edward Island rail trail. A beautiful island, we had time to ride on a great trail , past blueberry fields which we could stop at and eat/pine trees and other trees lined the route, wetlands and flowers. Accomodation was varied and very comfortable. One night we slept above a cafe and joined the locals eating while being entertained by Irish Fiddlers. The drivers who picked up our luggage were great value telling us about local customs and history. A terrific active holiday!"
