We saw more animals than we ever expected to see and our safari guides were very knowledgeable. Our trip was two weeks and Great Safaris picked all the right spots in Kenya and Tanzania!"

"This company is unbelievable. Firstly I get a cancellation of the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica trip. The compensation in comparison to a like for like trip was peanuts and the increase was 1000s more! Then I read numerous customers are getting switched onto trips without paying the difference. I ring them again and they promise to swop me for no extra charge. This was agreed with their team leader. I waited until getting a cabin on Fram without getting too excited but sure enough we were swopped and I was so excited and looking forward to the trip of a lifetime. Yesterday I got a devastating email saying ‘i am reaching out to you since regardless of his statement that we will be able to price match you, this request was denied by our Revenue department and we are not able to honour the price match.’ After speaking to this new team leader she had very little to say, no excuse or justification just she was sorry. There is no way we can afford the 1000s extra they are asking for the same trip. We are now left heartbroken for a second time. This company has no care or consideration for its customers and I for one will not use them again and I will tell anyone who will listen how shocking they are!"

Not only did we enjoy some of the top experiences the country has to offer - Wadi Rum, Petra, the Dead Sea, Gerash - but we learned so much about the local culture and customs. "My husband and I booked a trip with Why Jordan Tours in February. Working with Ahmad, to plan the trip, was a great experience. We communicated via email and he was always very quick getting back to me with any questions I had. On our arrival in Jordan, we were greeted by a representative who brought us to our driver. Our driver, Mohammad, gave us his phone number. This way we were able to communicate with him, via What's App, if we had any questions or concerns. Mohammad was excellent and did everything to ensure we had a great time visiting the sights he drove us to. We visited Amman, Jerash, Mt. Nebo, Madaba, Little Petra, Petra, Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Bethany, and the Dead Sea. All the guided tours booked for us were excellent. It was very nice having either Mohammad, or a tour guide for the area we were visiting, buy our tickets and get us into the sites. The hotels booked by Ahmad were all very nice and the night we spent in the Wadi Rum Camp was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Why Jordan Tours for your travels in Jordan. "What an incredible trip! I am so thankful to have planned my Algeria travels with Mosaic North Africa. It was packed with excitement, history, and sights. I was truly blown away by how much they were able to pack into my 12 days. Not a moment was wasted. When I arrived, the local guide team greeted me and were so kind. They worked at my own pace. They taught me about Algeria’s history, from Roman ruins to French occupations. Everything was pre-arranged, we even had police escorts in some places. My highlight was undoubtedly the 4-day desert camping. Very few can say they went so deep into the Sahara Desert. We traveled by 4×4 to see numerous ancient cave drawings, hike massive sand dunes, and camp under the stars… all the meals were delicious, cooked fresh. It was perfect. A time I will not forget, and I certainly could not have made it all happen on my own."

"I booked with Tours by Locals on Jan. 31, 2019. We were on a cruise out of New York City. We were due to arrive back to port in the morning and booked this to fill our day before we flew out in the evening. Two days before our tour I received an email that our guide was no longer available and they would try to find another. They didn't and cancelled our tour that had been booked for almost 9 months."

"BEWARE! This company was terribly disorganized in trying to plan our trip to Morocco. They did not book our hotels properly and could not provide the trip they promised and we had paid for. They did not know our flight information, and could not provide any details a week out as to who would be guiding us on our tour, etc. When THEY offered to provide a full refund given their mistake, we cancelled our trip and have been trying to get our money back ever since. They have blocked our calls and do not answer our emails. They keep promising the check and it is more than 30 days since due. This check is not coming to us. They have tried to convince us not to contact the credit card company (in hopes that the we wait too long and the credit card can no longer win a dispute). DO NOT BOOK!!"
