Paris Tour Selection Trips
- In Paris, it's possible to spend weeks discovering new places to see. However you can comfortably see the major sights on a 4 to 6 day stay. Many tours of France include a few days in Paris, and it's often possible to arrange to stay longer after your tour ends.
- The French are famously a bit frosty, especially when it comes to their language. But contrary to popular belief, in most cases, if you try and are earnest about being respectful of the French language, they will appreciate it.
- Don't try to see all of the Lourve in one day, or even one trip. You'll exhaust yourself! Your tour guide will know the good times to go to avoid long lines, and will be able to navigate the museum at a moderately quick pace - allowing you to return home having seen the major works on display.
- Paris is a walkng city! Never pass up the opportunity to take a walking tour or simply stroll the idyllic streets for an afternoon. Those with limited mobility - such as wheelchair travelers, or older travelers for whom walking is difficult - beware. The city is beautiful and charming, due to the cobblestoned streets - and cobblestones can be very uncomfortable to walk on even for short distances.
