Countries Reopening for Tourism »
Last updated on 12/3/2020
Travel has looked very different recently due to the coronavirus. Countries around the world have closed their borders and many international flights have stopped. Slowly, however, travel is starting to come back alive as restricitons cautiously begin to ease. Certain countries are starting to open up to the outside world again.
With so much information out there about coronavirus, countries reopening and countries closing again, it can be hard to figure out where you can actually travel. However, it’s not as simple as a country reopening their borders and everyone can start visiting again. More often than not, the countries that are reopening are only allowing access to travelers from specific destinations.
One country may allow everyone while the next only countries in the EU. Travelers coming from Australia and Canada may be able to visit, but not those coming from the US or UK. It depends not on the travelers citizenship but on the destination they would be arriving from.
Below are the countries that travelers coming from the UK can travel to now, along with safety information, travel restrictions and what travelers can expect to be open.
