Seoul in 3 Days - First Time Visit

One week in Seoul is going to give you a good amount of time to see all the different sides of the city. You’ll have time for historical landmarks, eclectic neighborhoods, shopping, relaxing, and food markets.

Day 1 - Shopping and N Seoul Tower: Visit Myeongdong, where you will do all the shopping or relaxing that your heart desires. You’ll find endless stores selling Korean beauty and skincare products, quirky cafes where you’ll pet animals while sipping coffee, and try a variety of street food. If you’re daring enough, visit one of the many fish spas - where small fishes clean your feet by nibbling on your dead skin. At night, take a cable car up the hill to catch a view of the city from the North Seoul Tower. A unique thing to do here with loved ones is to add a “love lock” to the fence.

Day 2 - Palace, Village, and Markets: Visit the Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of the Five Grand Palaces. Next, stop by the Bukchon Hanok Village, a traditional village where locals reside up to this day. Go for lunch at the Gwangjang Market and feast on bibimbap - a bowl of rice with fresh vegetables mixed with gochujang (spicy sauce). End the day by taking a stroll around Insadong, where traditional artisanal crafts are sold.

Day 3, Gangnam and Han River: Head to the Gangnam district and wander through the endless tunnels of the underground shopping area. Explore the streets to find more shops, food, and stores. End the day at the Han River, where you can relax and have a picnic by the water, bike, or go on a dinner cruise.
