Editoral Review of Studytrip.com
Founded in 2009, Study Trip provides unique learning tours for students, with a language learning focus.
What Makes Them Stand Out?
Their trips are centered on providing travel and study opportunities to students and young adults, between the ages of 18-35. Their approach is similar to study abroad, though with a wider variety of durations (some short study breaks are available). All tours include a language learning component as well as a focus on cultural and local experiences.
Who Travels With Them?
Their trips are open to students and young adults between the ages of 18-35. Most trips are mid to low budget range, excluding flights. If you have a cultural curiosity and are interested in a tour with a focus on learning languages and making friends with local, you’ll fit right in.
Where Do They Operate?
They specialize in Japan, Korea and Spain. Language support is offered in Japanese, Korean, English, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Indonesian, Portuguese and German.
How Does it Work?
Most use will be made of public transportation, adding to the immersive experience. Accommodation will be in dormitories, homestays or apartments various options are available. Itinerary offers activities spaced evenly over the duration of the trip with enough time allowed for personal exploration.
Why Travel With Them?
They offer a unique cultural immersion experience, as you will learn the language and have the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the destinations on a deeper level. You will meet like minded travelers and get to mingle with local and make new friends. If you are traveling on your own this is the one of the best ways to quickly find a community.

About the company
Our History
We started as Go! Go! Nihon in 2009 and have been growing ever since. Originally having helped over 5000 long-term students travel to Japan, we realised that some people were still missing out and decided to start running study trips in 2012 combining short-term study and fun-filled activities.
Our aim
Studytrip.com aims to offer students an experience that will change their lives forever. We have worked with clients who were unsure about traveling alone, but when they joined our tour and met wonderful new friends from all over the world, it completely changed their views on travelling and the global community
Our values
Studytrip.com’s most important value is that our customer comes first. We created these trips so that our clients can have a unique point of view, when it comes to immersing themselves in a new culture. Most of our staff have been in the exact same position at one point in time, having to make the same decisions on short or Long - term language travel. This means they are the perfect people to help guide clients to the right trip and give expert and personal advice on topics, that clients might not have thought about previously. We work with clients in various languages, where possible, we offer services in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Korean and Japanese. Being able to offer this support gives a sense of comfort and familiarity throughout the process.
Trip Styles
Our trips are made to focus on language and cultural activities. The classes during the day are intense enough to feel that you are learning or brushing up on your language skills and the activities are fun and engaging, showcasing a balance between traditional and modern. But best of all, travellers will also have the freedom to explore on their own, which is especially nice for those who want to do something which is not included in the planned itinerary.
We offer package 3 categories, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
The only difference between the categories, is the number of activities included, Bronze being the least activity rich option and Gold, which is a full immersion into the culture.
Language classes will be the same no matter which the package is chosen, as will the accommodation, unless there are special preferences.
