What travelers are saying

"I have traveled on 20 different Rockjumper tours to all parts of the world. Every tour I have been on has ensured that cultural sites are included whenever possible. Their guides are fantastic. They are extremely knowledgeable about the birds of the habitat including their many calls. The guides are friendly with great personalities. Most are young and brimming with enthusiasm. Booking a tour with Rockjumper is easy and they offer many discount opportunities. The office staff quickly answer your questions and work extremely hard to make each tour run smoothly. They also offer Tailormade tours which will arrange a tour for you to anyplace your heart desires."

What travelers are saying

"This is a revision of a previously written poor review I wrote of this travel company. There was an unfortunate airline strike at the end of a 2 and 1/2 week trip to Chile and Argentina which caused great confusion and disarray among the travelers, including myself. A confusing series of communications between the local tour operators and myself led me to believe that WWQ had basically left me to my own devices to get myself and my husband home. That was not the case and I would like to set the record straight. They actually did try to make return arrangements but I was not aware of it until after I had made my own. The tour itself was wonderful, all the hotels and tour arrangements were great and WWQ did a great job organizing the tour. Their staff is superb, was always helpful during the pre-trip planning process. I would recommend this company."

What travelers are saying

"I just returned from Aurora’s NW passage trip from Greenland to Nome Alaska. I wish to warn potential passengers that out of 26 sea days, we had 10 landings, out of which we were free to walk on our own once. The director,Ashley, told passengers on day one that if they disobeyed her, they would be confined to their cabin. When we got to Alaska, Aurora had not hired sufficient personnel with US licenses to allow for any landings. So we were 60 miles out at sea for almost a week and could not even see the shoreline. Much of the controlling behavior of Ashley was in the guise of safety from the polar bears, but her behavior was over the top. Also the head bear rifle guy, Nils, screamed at passengers on shore at the top of his lungs when they were a few feet off a poorly marked trail in a flat landscape with at least a mile visibility in all directions. He also screamed at passengers to rush over uneven ground because of a bear in the distance. This is just plain dangerous for 70 -80 year old passengers. I have traveled extensively, including an Antarctic cruise, and never had such an unpleasant experience. Even considered bailing out from Cambridge Bay partway through the cruise. Customers beware. You have been warned."

What travelers are saying

"Just returned from an amazing trip to the Pantanal in Brazil. The stay at Rita's Baia das Pedras ranch was the best. Rita herself is a wonderful lady who has opened her family ranch to conservation work. Because of her, I was able to see giant armadillos, tapirs, caymans, capybara and loads of birds in their natural habitat. Our guide through the ranch lands, Luis, was a wealth of knowledge and so enthusiastic about sharing his love for the animals were were seeing. He made the trip even more memorable. From our second lodge, we had an expert boat driver and guide who gave us personal encounters with jaguars, giant river otters, hyacinth macaws and more. Such a treat to be able to spend the time we wanted watching these incredible animals and not be rushed to move on to the next thing."
