"Much of the trip common meals catered for the lowest common palate and often we ended up eating relatively western versions of food or at western style restaurants for family dinners. Which may or may not be your style. A few places the accomodation was nice but a bit far from the activity hubs in town. I probably would have preferred slightly worse accomodation to be closer to activity areas or to meet other people."

"We had booked a 4-day private tour through YET: Pyramids, boat trip on the Nile, White and Black Desert with overnight stay in a tent and Cairo with all its sights. From my first email inquiry I felt I was in good hands; Mona was always helpful in making all my adjustments to the tour tailored to us. We were warmly welcomed at the airport by Mr. Peter (and accompanied back there at the end of our trip). He was a great and valuable help with the visa and entry papers. The rest of the time we were accompanied by Mohammed, the driver (believe me, you need a driver in Cairo) and Menna, the Egyptologist. They were always friendly and courteous and kept surprising us with little things. We felt completely looked after and safe, no matter what we were doing, we always had someone to talk to and were therefore able to enjoy our time and relax. The information and insider tips we received were extensive and detailed. Our vacation was private and exclusive, we couldn't have imagined it any better. Thank you very much for the nice conversations and the courtesy, we would love to come back next time, it was simply fantastic. "Completely unethical booking situation. I requested a tour, submitted my CC info to hold the tour and tried to cancel it the following day. (My daughter broke her foot thus we couldn’t go). We were told the tour was not ‘confirmed’ but they still had to reach out to their local team prior to cancelling. The charge on credit card read pending. The intermediary company, Tour Radar, assured me that On the Go Travel would drop the pending charge. After a week or so, I got a generic email saying congratulations your tour has been booked. The full charge appeared on my credit card. I am livid. I am currently working with Tour Radar to drop the charge. Regardless of how this turns out, I will never ever travel with On the Go Travel."
