Thank you Samson's Safaris for arranging a wonderful family vacation to Amboseli, Mombasa and Samburu. We were quite a large group requiring lots of coordination but Samson's Safaris were up to the task. They were patient with all our scheduling and rescheduling issues and made sure everyone was happy. The service was excellent - courteous, punctual and professional. They were good drivers and we especially enjoyed the game drives when every effort was made to make sure we got to see the big five. Thanks Samson's Safari's - looking forward to going to the Masai Mara next time around!

We worked with Audley for our honeymoon trip in Africa; we got wrong guidance on visa, entry requirements, that made us change our destination 3 days before our wedding day, 4 days before intended departure! The travel agent  kept pushing for me to keep with the original destination despite a rejected visa (saying I can get visa on-arrival when i couldn't). We ended up with a super stressful trip and not the luxury experience we paid $$$$$ for. I worked with a travel agency so I wouldn't have to plan my honeymoon on top of the wedding, but only to realize you can't leave it up to Audley!

We did an 8-day all-inclusive tour to 4 different parks in Kenya. We chose Denhum due to an email where they responded enthusiastically  about their commitment to eco-friendly and ethical tourism which contributes to local communities rather than ignoring them or exploiting them. Communication prior was prompt and clear. We had a severe food allergy in our group and it was handled at each lodge appropriately and kindly. Our incredible guide Musa is a Kenyan and drives for multiple companies. He said Denhum was by far his favorite to work for due to their ethics, how well they treat him, and the Kenyan ownership. This safari was so affordable and we stayed in some of the most amazing places I’ve ever seen! Far above my usual level as a budget traveler. The food at each lodge was so delicious and the accommodations themselves kept getting better and better at each stop.

We saw so many incredible animals due to how talented our guide, Musa, was. He has so much experience and is clearly well respected and a leader among the drivers. Truly I can’t say enough good things about Musa, he absolutely made the trip and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. He treated us like family and was so thoughtful with planning each day for us. I’m not sure I can ever do a safari without him!  To be sure I will be using Denhum for my next safari. 
 
Only recommendation for improvement is not to do the Maasai village tour. It was very uncomfortable and we felt taken advantage of, pressured, extorted, exploited. We obviously care about supporting local cultures but that was a bad experience.

Classic Kenya Highlights Safari

Where do I start? Got denhum holidays through I friend and everything went easy than I thought from booking to payment made so by Felix who seemed to give information like he was educating us on what we need to know than soliciting business from us. We didn't expect to be met at the airport as we had made own arrangements for the first night in Nairobi. Free transfer did humble us even more. Our guide has been great so far having been with him for 9 days, we confidently say he is the best. Thanks Reuben. We have been to masai mara 3 nights, 2 nights rift valley 2 nights Samburu 1 night mt Kenya and we are in our last night of 2 nights Amboseli. We have had the best more than bargained orvthought of including free sundowners with drinks and visit to samburu and masai villages

Me and my wife had a great safari last summer where we did 11 days safari with Denham holidays. we had a very good guide who always asked as many questions to make sure we understood. we feel knowledgeable after this safari. We already think of going back early 2019 or mid to watch the great wildebeest migration at Masai Mara

We stayed at Mara Expedition camp in mid Feb 2018 after having to be switched from our original planned location at Mara Plains Camp due to a lioness and her cubs denning under our reserved tent! However we loved Mara Expedition and the staff and food and rustic luxury were wonderful. We had the BEST guide (Kevin) and simply sensational sightings literally from the drive in from the airstrip until the last moment of our transition day. Can not recommend highly enough. Just after our stay the torrential Mara rains and flooding started and the camp was washed away as it sits on the bank of the Ntiakntiak river. But they are rebuilding and planning on reopening shortly.

I have been at Mara Plains Camp in Kenya. It is one of the best locations in the Mara, great for all cats . Top Service and Guiding . One of my favorites.
