What travelers are saying

"Completely unethical booking situation. I requested a tour, submitted my CC info to hold the tour and tried to cancel it the following day. (My daughter broke her foot thus we couldn’t go). We were told the tour was not ‘confirmed’ but they still had to reach out to their local team prior to cancelling. The charge on credit card read pending. The intermediary company, Tour Radar, assured me that On the Go Travel would drop the pending charge. After a week or so, I got a generic email saying congratulations your tour has been booked. The full charge appeared on my credit card. I am livid. I am currently working with Tour Radar to drop the charge. Regardless of how this turns out, I will never ever travel with On the Go Travel."

What travelers are saying

"Osiris Tours is owned and operated by New Jersey-based Mahmoud Gebril, a former Egyptian tour guide himself who helped us plan and execute a marvelous, once-in-a-lifetime tour of more than 30 major Egyptian archaeological sites and museums. As anthropologists-ethnographers accustomed to challenging travel and living conditions, we had never considered embarking on a customized tour before (or even traveling with a group tour, for that matter). We were looking to take an intensive, deep dive into Egyptian history, mythology, and architectural wonders spanning five millennia, as well as get a sense of the region’s prehistory and contemporary urban cultures. It would have been difficult to orchestrate it all ourselves, so we’re glad that we learned about Osiris Tours from friends who traveled with the company to Egypt in 2023. We came home fully satisfied with every aspect of the journey. The company’s excellent reputation in delivering customized private-tour experiences is built on the invaluable expertise of dedicated Egyptologists and support personnel who know first-hand the language, cultural practices, and logistical ins and outs. With the able guidance of two knowledgeable Egyptologists, Cairo-based Ahmed Fathy Alsayed and Luxor-based Esam (Sam) Fallah Itsa, we always managed to beat the crowds and sometimes found ourselves the only visitors in some places. Transportation was handled superbly by a coordinated team of airport representatives and skilled drivers used to negotiating the astonishing traffic jams. We traveled from Cairo to Aswan by air, by private van to Abu Simbel, cruised down the Nile to Luxor (including a day trip to Abydos and Dendera temple complexes in Qena, rarely visited by casual tourists), and flew back to Cairo. The 13-day/12-night itinerary featured an all-inclusive three-day Nile cruise on the Sonesta Moon Goddess and four different five-star hotels with truly sumptuous breakfast buffets. We could not have been better fed or well cared for, and we are grateful for everyone’s efforts."

What travelers are saying

"The people, platform, and program that Pilgrimm Tours provided made our experience extrordinary. It wasnt easy puting a tour together in these times yet we really wanted to go to Jordan and Israel. Pilgrim used discresion yet was proactive in making this tour available. In so doing we were afforded an amazing opportunity to see these lands and sights at a time where few people are going in. The guides were culturaly relevant and educated in a way to bring top tier information and experience of their world view in their home countries. The places we went were relavent to our interest levels, and the experiences we had were out of the Box. Pilgrim used thier itenerary along with our own ideas in a longer stay to accomodate our time away. We highly reccomend Pilgrim Tours out of PA."

What travelers are saying

"I enrolled early in the French Art Voyage because of the caliber of the sites visited: no visit to the overly crowded Louvre but rather to Monet’s Giverny and Cezanne’s studio. A preliminary itinerary I just received has no mention of Giverny so I went online to be sure it was still open. It is. I checked Cezanne’s studio and found it closed for renovation. I called Road Scholar to ask why Giverny was canceled and did they mean Cezanne perhaps. A customer service rep was clueless. I spelled Giverny to her twice. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, returned and said someone would contact me. I told her to wait a minute. I had more. Was Cezanne’s studio to be canceled as well.? Five days later I get an email from Judith telling me Giverny was not officially on the itinerary, Cezanne’s studio had to be removed due to renovation and I could not see the Mona Lisa!!! I responded saying I sensed some bait and switch also reminding her I NEVER asked about the Mona Lisa. She replied telling me how to arrange Giverny for myself and reiterating that I could not see the Mona Lisa!!!! I have experienced ageism but not gaslighting like this. I am not an old fool who imagined Giverny on the itinerary. I am not an old fool insisting on a Mona Lisa that was not. Road Scholar has no business marketing to elders with staff like this."

What travelers are saying

"I have been to Greece with America Israel Tours several times over the last few years and each trip has been an amazing experience. From the super-efficient & knowledgeable cruise escorts that help us maximize our time on the islands to the beautiful hotels, expert guides, and wonderful itineraries, touring Greece with AIT for a Biblical tour enriched my knowledge of the Apostle Paul's time there and showed me the best of Biblical Greece. Visiting Ephesus in Turkey was one of the most amazing experiences - it's an incredible site! I plan group tours to the Holy Land countries and have used AIT for our ministry trips since 2018. I am very happy with the planning, communication, availability, quality of services in the countries, and every other aspect of executing our mission with America Israel/Greece tours. They really care about each person and all the details, to a degree that leaves everyone more than satisfied. Before the tours begin, while we travel, and after we get home, AIT does an amazing job. My travelers rate the value and satisfaction of our tours 5/5 every time!"

"A trip to Israel last year got canceled because of the war and never got my money back. Tried to schedule another trip to Greece this time, and nobody has returned my calls and text messages in the last 10 months. My next step will be to go through the Business Bureau"

What travelers are saying

"Our 8th OU tour was to Switzerland. We visited many sites in Switzerland, Austria and also a quick stop in Germany. O.U. takes all the stress away by using outstanding Tour Directors who handle everything. Our T. D. Kiara was fantastic! She worked flawlessly throughout the tour, even when we were stuck in Zermatt after a flood. I highly recommend O.U."

What travelers are saying

"Wilderness Travel is the BEST company to choose for the Galapagos Islands! We went as a family of 7 and every expectation was blown out of the water. Their team in the office quickly and thoroughly answered all our questions leading up to the trip (and we had a lot), and once we arrived we felt like we had the islands entirely to ourselves! Obviously, the animals were incredible (I was able to see everything on my "wishlist"), but the trip leader is really who made this a once in a lifetime trip. Fernando was kind, patient, funny, and an encyclopedia of knowledge (of course I've forgotten 90% of what I learned already!) He would give short "presentations" at the end of most days explaining the history of the islands, the geology, evolution, Darwin, and how modern politics affect tourism (for better and worse), which added a whole other dimension to our experience.. The boat crew was also magical. We were welcomed with tea and hot snacks immediately after returning from snorkeling excursions, fresh juice and fruit after walks in the sun, and feasts every night with a shocking amount of variety in meals. We were also traveling with a young child and the staff was extremely helpful (even offered babysitting during dinner) in making our trip as easy as possible. We were on the boat "the Passion" and there was a wonderful outdoor dining table that we ate at almost every meal, giving us nearly 360-degree views of the islands as we sailed to the next destination. It's one of the nicest yachts I've been on -- multiple different areas to lounge, a big screen TV/movie area, spacious bedrooms, and there was even a HOT TUB on the top floor! We would go back again in a heartbeat!"
