Highlights

North Thailand is a captivating arena for road cyclists, with smooth roads curling up jungle-clad mountains and stretching across valleys of endless rice paddies. On this 10-day tour, we take on some of the north’s most scenic cycling routes, challenge ourselves with iconic climbs, savour breathtaking views, enjoy local cuisine, and unwind in cosy accommodationsWe meet in the provincial capital of Chiang Rai, where we kick off with a warm-up ride to the must-see White Temple. Next, we venture into the highlands, making our way to the small town of Tha Thon. From there, we cross the hills of Mae Salong before traversing vast plains to reach the unique Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos converge at the Mekong River. After some gentle rides southward, we face the epic ascent to Phu Chi Fah, revealing some of the north’s most spectacular views, relatively unknown to tourists. We then enjoy a thrilling downhill back to the plains, spending a night in the lakeside city of Phayao. Finally, we hop valley-to-valley to Chiang Mai Province, where we visit the unique “sticky” waterfall, before concluding with a ride on the classic Samoeng Loop. The tour ends in Chiang Mai City. Join us on this exhilarating road cycling journey through the mountains and valleys of northern Thailand, locally known as “Lanna” – the “Kingdom of a Million Rice Fields”!

Highlights

Cambodian heritage is often linked to the UNESCO-listed temples of Angkor, French colonialism, and the legacies of the Khmer Rouge regime. On this 7-day bike tour, we want to show you that there’s so much more! In the capital, Phnom Penh, we reveal the city’s character beyond its somber reminders of genocide. In the plains of gently flowing rivers, we discover an agrarian world shaped by Buddhist and animist beliefs. And in Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor, we traverse an ancient landscape of stately temples and hinterlands once ruled by Hindu god-kings, now imbued with rustic rural charm. Each day, we cycle on quiet back roads, immerse ourselves in local life, savor authentic Khmer cuisine, and unwind in cozy hotels. We meet in Phnom Penh and dive into the city with a rickshaw ride through its backstreets, a visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, and a stop at the Royal Palace. The next day, we go island hopping in the Mekong River to discover rural silk weaving villages. Then we head north, exploring hilltop stupas at the former capital of Oudong before taking on red-dirt roads to reach the ancient, jungle-covered ruins of Sambor Prei Kuk. Finally, we arrive in Siem Reap where, cycling on paths perfect for mountain biking, we’ll explore the majestic temples of the once-glorious Khmer Empire, including, of course Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument. Wel also embark on a sunset boat cruise on the shimmering Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake famous for its floating villages. The tour ends in Siem Reap following a farewell ride in the countryside.Join us on this leisurely-paced, heritage-infused bike tour of Cambodia!

The Gobi. Even for as wild and remote a destination as Mongolia, the southern desert remains an isolated and mysterious place. In 7 riding days, ride 410 kilometers through this desert full of strange wonders: sand dunes that sing, cliffs aflame, and camels with two humps instead of one. Camp under impossibly starry skies, the clear desert weather and hundreds of miles of uninhabited wilderness are the perfect conditions to gaze upon the milky way and countless constellations. This is truly wild and unforgettable mountain biking adventure, in one of the most undiscovered and remote places on earth!

Highlights

Separated from the Southeastern coast of Africa, Madagascar’s isolation only adds to its appeal as a tour destination. It’s seclusion is the reason for the rare plants and animals who live here, many of which are found nowhere else in the world. Keep an eye peeled for the famed ring-tailed lemur as we explore the lush tropical rainforest on the Eastern side of the isle. And look out for other curious creatures along your trip: tomato frogs, dwarf chameleons, and hedgehog-like tenrecs – all unique to the country and so prolific that sightings are sure to happen.
