For any company or individual wishing to experience an amazing organisation – I can’t commend One Horizon highly enough. The staff are dedicated, dynamic and sincere in all their efforts to make a difference in the lives of so many affected women and children. We were incredibly humbled but equally energised by this once in a lifetime experience. We left Australia as a group of employees working for the same, large company, not knowing each other and left Kenya a week later as lifelong friends with a new, and for some, a refreshed perspective on life. One Horizon looked after all the arrangements perfectly and each day was filled with a sense of adventure and purpose and each day ended with immense satisfaction and emotion, not to mention sheer joy. We all left a piece of our hearts in Kenya and certainly with the staff, partners, and women &amp; children at all the Centres that we visited. The work One Horizon is doing on the ground is remarkable but more importantly – it is life changing, sustainable and will have long lasting results. Not only for the recipients but for our team too!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for an incredible two days! The trips were beyond incredible and inspiring. Carol was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable and welcoming. My wife and I spent an incredible 10 days in Kenya traveling to multiple sites (Maasai Mara, Samburu, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Lake Nakuru) on a wildlife photo safari led by Joseph. This was an amazing experience all around and as smooth as could be, from the excellent email/WhatsApp communications, being picked up at the airport, arranging for exceptional lodging and meals, bringing us back to the airport at the end of our safari, even arranging for the COVID test necessary to fly back. Each day was filled with wonderful wildlife and birds, which Joseph spotted with amazing eagle eyes! His knowledge of wildlife is exceptional, and he's a skilled and reliable driver, so we always felt safe. Incredible value for the cost, and so we highly recommend Joseph Mwangi and Natures Wonderland Safaris for your own life-changing experience!

10 Days Kenya Safari Exploration

It was a great trip, wonderful to see the animals in their natural habitat.  
Some long days of driving but well worth it in the end.  Erellah was great 
leader, pointed things out that we would've never seen without his help.  
Wilson, Sam and Esther were great assets to the trip and made it all the more 
enjoyable.  It was my first trip with Exodus and plan on more.

He was great and very well informed.


Expect some long days of travel but worth it.

Kenya & Tanzania Adventure

Saw all the infamous National parks &amp; so much awesome wildlife, too numerous 
to mention.
Great group, relaxing tour pace &amp; even the camping was great!
The way the trip is organised &amp; run by the crew is flawless, I am so 
impressed &amp; will definitely have consider this type of trip again.
Seeing the wildebeast crossing the Mara river during the annual migration was 
the most awe inspiring thing I have ever seen, made up that we managed to see 
this...thanks to the crew !


Erillah was a fantastic tour guide, relentlessly cheerful &amp; knowledgable, 
supported by Wilson &amp; Esther - awesome chefs who looked after us so well, &amp; 
Sam, the driver, who kept us safe at all times &amp; gave us the best 'African 
massage' !!


Take binoculars &amp; pack really light, you really won't need many clothes as 
you can easily wash en route.
We all got affected by motion sickness due to the rough roads, so I would 
recommend taking travel sickness medication.

Although we had previously visited Kenya six years ago (on the Gorillas and 
Masai Mara trip) we had never seen the wildebeest crossing so I had really 
hoped to be lucky this time. Also our former trip had been an excellent 
experience so I had no hesitation in booking this trip with the added 
Tanzania experience.
We were really lucky and saw the great migration, watching the wildebeest 
crossing the River Mara. There was such a dramatic build up to it - first a 
small group went to cross and then rushed back when they reached the river 
and saw crocodiles. We thought we weren't going to see it. Then further along 
the riverbank, a larger group just suddenly started rushing. We sat and 
watched for about fifteen minutes as wildebeest were stampeding across the 
plains joined by groups of zebra and then waded across the river and up the 
other side.


Erellah was an excellent group leader and a real credit to Exodus. He split 
his time equally amongst all trip members and would turn his hand to whatever 
was required be it organising, putting up tents, cooking etc. He was always 
bright cheerful and full of energy and worked extremely hard.


There is a lot of packing and unpacking in the first 10 days, organise your 
bag for ease of access and bring a padlock for your locker. Pack walking 
boots and comfortable sandals. Warm clothes for the Ngorongoro Crater are 
essential (I took a light thermal layers including vest, leggings, fleece 
top, hat, scarf and gloves) … I was not going to get cold!  Having said 
that pack light but take a washing line and pegs.


Although expensive I would recommend the Kenyan balloon trip. The pilot was 
excellent, the experience beautiful, peaceful and altogether rather surreal. 
The breakfast good and with a view that is breathtaking. In the 4 x 4 game 
drive which lasted a few hours we saw lion, leopard and cheetah!
