An absolutely superb tour!! All the magical places to visit in Turkey neatly packed into one fabulous trip with the extra comfort of a private vehicle. The whole trip was organized very well. Kerem, at the tour agency, went out of his way to help and change our itinerary to fit our needs. Any issues were resolved promptly and my friend and I had the most enjoyable and stress-free holiday! Kerem even managed to get us Japanese speaking guides (which I'm sure was not an easy task), which made a world of difference to my friend who only speaks Japanese and very limited English!! A truly excellent service. All the guides provided on our tour had great knowledge of Turkish history and culture. The hotels and restaurants included in the tour were very nice; the cave hotel in Cappadocia was magnificent! The whole trip ran very smoothly, despite a full schedule and various moving parts to the trip. As it was a private tour for the whole 11 days, we also had the flexibility to visit some vineyards along the way to enjoy some local wines which were absolutely wonderful. Sitting in a beautiful vineyard with a glass of wine with my childhood friend really was the icing on the cake. Highly recommended.

We have travelled the world and this was without a doubt the best guided tour we have done over our 10 years of traveling! Our guide Riza and driver Oman made our day spectacular. Riza has such an extensive knowledge of the area and shares it with clarity and expertise. We felt we were in the best of hands and given experiences few could duplicate. We started our day as guests and felt we finished as friends! We cannot remember a more enjoyable day and the country of Turkey is gorgeous! Don’t miss the opportunity to spend the day with the best!

Excellent and very well organised tour from the start to the finish. The guides were excellent and provided great commentary on the history of the area. The guides also gave us the choice to go to some shops along the way, which we did out of interest, but no pushy sales pitch, or pressure to go. However, I was glad we did go as the information we were given was very helpful for shopping throughout Turkey even if you didn't buy anything at their shop. The accommodation and van we travelled in was comfortable.

Senior Discovery Tours

Really well planned itinerary. Plenty of cycling and rest days, plus free time to explore on our own. The trip had really well thought out optional extras as well; such as boat trips. The guide was really informative on next days activities so that we were always well prepared.

Guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable on Jordan and its history. Really made us feel secure in Jordan; on the roads and whilst out and about. Handled all the tipping side of things that can sometimes be a chore. Always gave us good advice on things to do in our free time and also excellent recommendations on nights out.

All in all I'd thoroughly recommend this trip. Absolutely fascinating country and region. The guide and support staff (bus driver, cycle mechanics etc.) were super friendly, indeed all of the locals we met were, and you got a sense of how proud they all were of their home.

Despite the troubles in nearby countries we felt completely safe and were welcomed by all. I'd go back without any hesitation to explore further!

Cycle Jordan

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent Cycle Jordan adventure..
The trip was a good balance of cycling and sightseeing.
Having wanted to visit Petra for many years it did not disappoint, a big tick on my bucket list. 
Wadi rum with its scenery was astounding also a wonderful experience to sleep in the desert and experience Bedouin hospitality for the night.
Recommend taking the snorkeling boat trip when in Aqaba which is one of the trip options.
Salah our guide was very knowledgeable and  was happy to talk to us about Bedouin and Jordanian culture which was very interesting.
I feel very fortunate to have visited Jordan at this time, all the sights were very quiet and not mobbed with hordes of other tourists which was great for us.
Sadly not so great for Jordanian tourism, If you have ever wanted to go to Jordan now is a great time to go. It is very safe and you will not be aware of any of the unfortunate troubles across the boarder.

A brilliant trip with a perfect combination of cycling and sightseeing - 4  lifetime experiences in one week !

In addition to a spectacular view of the Promised Land from Mt Nebo taking in the Dead Sea, Jericho and the skyline of Jerusalem 
We were very fortunate that the tourism level due to the Israel war was almost zero which made you feel for the Jordanian people who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The country felt incredibly safe and other than the lack of tourists you would never guess at the horrors unfolding over the border in Israel.
To add to the safety it appears to be the policy of the Jordanian govt to provide tourists with a police ****** for the duration of the trip. Our group of 7 cyclists had a police ******, our guide Salah, a bus driver, 2 mechanics and a cycle leader - so almost 1-1 ratio.
Our guide Salah was brilliant- a very intelligent man, excellent English and knowledge of the history of Jordan and beyond. He took great pains to ensure we knew the salient points of all the places we visited and I learned an awful lot on this trip. One small criticism is that other than Salah and a couple of the cycle leaders the other members of the Explore team spoke very little English which meant we often had to engage with Salah to translate. As Jordanians are taught English at school it should be fairly straightforward to use this as part of the recruitment criteria

Great leader, knew his history and looked after us well. 
Jordan is very safe despite the war going on around it. 
This was a cycling trip, with only one cycling guide and as I was the slowest was left on my own at the rear on occasions not knowing the direction the rest had gone. 
 Apart from this enjoyed holiday a lot.

Excellent trip. Great balance between cycling and sightseeing. Tour leader couldn't be better - great English, very knowledgeable about the culture and history / archaeology - and supported by an excellent team. Jordan is such an amazing country, and seems entirely safe from the nearby conflict in Gaza.

An excellent trip in a wonderful country, exceeded expectations in many ways. Very safe and friendly people and all appeared very safe. No not let conflicts in neighbouring countries of you visiting Jordan. In reality now is a good time as many of the sites are quiet. The cycling was great and just enough of a challenge, however this is far more than a cycling holiday!

My recommendations is that if you book your own flights double check with Explore that they have these correctly entered. Mine where not so I had issues on arrival in Jordan and had to arrange my own visa.
