This trip is truly the pinnacle Baja experience, allowing you to explore both sides of the peninsula in a relatively short amount of time. The kayaking around the islands of Loreto Bay is stunning, with plenty of scenery and wildlife to captivate your imagination all day and night. We even had the opportunity to see an incredible bioluminescence display one evening from our beach camp - it was one of the most beautiful things I've seen in my life. The Gray whale experience on the Pacific side was outstanding as well. The whales in Magdalena Bay put on a spectacular show for us in the two and a half days we spent at the whale base camp. Outstanding trip overall combining kayaking and whale watching! Great guides. Great company. Great food. Great kayaking. Great wildlife.

Trip was excellent.  Hotel in Tucsan was poor service.  Rooms nit ready.  Many of us waited in lobby for a long time.  Room numbering system not logical.  Had to have front desk find the room.  Breakfast was not ready on either day.  Dinner slightly better.  Room not large enough for 42-44 people.

Admittedly, this tour is unique, in that it's a desert tour. Somehow, the ratio of drive time, to time spent at tour destinations needs to be tweeked. 
Maybe a closer or more central starting location would cut down windshield time?
Also, again, it's in the desert, but the majority of hotel and dining options were mediocre at best. (Other than Palm Springs)

We had a great time on this Great American Desert trip. *Personal information removed by Feefo*was a great travel director. He was on top of things. We did not know what to expect regarding the deserts. Glad we went in March as it was not hot. We had good weather.  We learned a lot. I didn't know why they called Borax - 20 Team Borax and now I know.

For anyone who has not been to Hawaii, just do. My suggestion if you use this tour group, arrive the day before Aston or miss the first day of the trip. We had an 11 hour flight and had a 3 hour delay so we didn’t get to our Oahu hotel till 8ish pm. We missed the hello dinner.  We don’t travel much so we were surprised by some of the expense not known till just before we left. Tipping is a big part of the tour, for the tour director and the bus drivers that bring you to the visited destinations. We were told to pack our bags, then take half of the clothes out and double the cash you were going to bring. That is definitely the truth. Because we don’t travel a lot, I was happy going to Hawaii with a tour group because you don’t have to think about setting a schedule.  It’s all done for you. So if you’ve been thinking about traveling to Hawaii or somewhere else, go for it.  Just book it.
