My daughter and I had a great 4 days of adventure, cycling from Villavociosa to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. Xavier did a great job handling two very different riders! My daughter, a young experienced athlete and myself a cycling novice. The hotels and locations he selected were wonderful! Xavier customized our trip to our needs.I would truly recommend BikeBasque to anyone wanting to bike in Europe. I hope to be back.

We did a three day trip to check L'etape do Tour two weeks before the race. Xavier found time to fit us into his schedule and was a great guide and support. Looking forward for a cycling camp with Bike Basque.

This trip was well-organised and went off without a hitch. The mid-ride snack tables were always welcome, loaded with pick-me-up nibbles. The routes were well-chosen: we saw a terrific variety of scenery and appreciated the non-bike aspects of the days. Visits to olive oil producers and vineyards are pretty much essential to southern European tours, but I liked the unique story behind the family and vineyard we visited. The visit to the salt flats was particularly interesting. We appreciated being two nights in each hotel, loved the locations of Porto Soller and Pollensa, and the wonderful spa, architecture, grounds and serenity of Fontsanta to finish off the trip. If I had any quibbles it might be the last picnic - we would have preferred buns and meats and tomatoes and cheese rather than the quiche - and standardisation of the Ride GPS terms and consistency of directions. But the best part of the trip was our guides, Bibi and Anna. Their effervescence, their organisation, their constant commitment to ensure the happiness of every guest was superb.We couldn't figure out how they did everything they did every day always with a smile. Above all with their senses of humour they elevated this tour to the absolutely memorable. PS - With ebikes, the riding is easy; if you choose a road or hybrid you need to be in pretty good shape to keep up with the E's.

Spain: Balearic Islands, Mallorca & Ses Salines

Mallorca is an incredible island with much to appreciate. The biking was well-planned with great cultural additions like the wineries, parks and salt mines. The scenery was gorgeous and the people very helpful and friendly. Our guides were top-notch! They made the trip very special for all of us and their knowledge and love of the area was apparent. I highly recommend this trip—you won’t be disappointed!

Great routes, beautiful scenery, first-rate accommodations. Another winning VBT Tour! I loved riding 21 miles on the first day. VBT should increase the mileage for the first day on all their tours to match Mallorca. The only suggestion I have is that on the second day there is less than 13 miles of riding. There should be a 10-15 mile ride option for those who do not want to spend 90 minutes walking around Soller. An option to ride the Port de Pollensa to Cap de Formentor route should be offered, too, since we were right there.

This was our first time touring with VBT &amp; on Mallorca. Our tours guides Bogumila Mandok, Juantxo Perez &amp; Marc Wheeler were exceptional. They provided us with a first rate experience of cycling &amp; local culture. Our hotel stays &amp; dining experiences were similarly first rate.

This trip is not just cycling. The olive farm tour, the winery tour, and the salt production tour provided the opportunity to learn about Mallorca. The narrow roads in Mallorca are like scenic bike paths in the US, and there are not many cars. The Ride with GPS app had excellent instructions, so I could feel comfortable riding on my own without worrying about directions (although for the most part I rode with our group). And our 3 tour leaders were awesome!
