snorkelling and this was an activity we arranged ourselves with the hotel.

The itinerary provided a variety of experiences, but the focus was on wildlife and game drives which is exactly what we wanted and expected. The only problem was that there were discrepancies between the optional experiences that were advertised and those that were actually available. Some of the descriptions of the days events were inaccurate or a bit misleading especially the boat ride on Lake Naivasha and the Dhow excursion in Zanzibar. The 4 X 4 vehicles were very comfortable and it good repair. The hotels were all excellent especially Acacia Farm Lodge, and the Keekorok Lodge.  The only problem was the Serenity on the Lake Hotel. The peacocks that roamed the grounds were annoying and the bars on the windows and door with padlock securing the door and no phone or WiFi in the room presented a potential safety hazard.

It's just too bad the experience leading up to the trip was so poor
