About the company
Diviac, which stands for Dive Maniac as you might have guessed, is a company dedicated to digital business for scuba divers. It was founded and is run by divers with decades of business and IT experience from blue chip companies such as McKinsey, The Boston Consulting Group, Compaq Computers and IBM. Diviac is backed by capital from professional investors and a Swiss bank. Its management and board are committed to Swissness in the way they operate and the quality of the services they provide.
Diviac's first venture, a cloud-based, multi-media scuba logbook went live in November 2013 as diviac.com. It has already attracted thousands of users from over a hundred countries due to its unique user experience and its sophisticated functionality. In April 2015, the founders have taken the next step and launched diviac.travel, an online travel website for scuba divers that brings together a rich repository of dive operators with real-life, user-created ratings and reviews. With diviac travel, avid scuba divers can research, choose and book their next dive vacation from a selection of over 10,000 dive operators worldwide.
