Born in 1996 out of a partnership between the indigenous Achuar people of the Ecuadorian rainforest and an American couple – Bill and Lynne Twist – Pachamama Journeys takes travelers into the rainforest to meet and engage with the Achuar and learn and spread the word about their struggle for survival.
