"What an incredible trip! I am so thankful to have planned my Algeria travels with Mosaic North Africa. It was packed with excitement, history, and sights. I was truly blown away by how much they were able to pack into my 12 days. Not a moment was wasted. When I arrived, the local guide team greeted me and were so kind. They worked at my own pace. They taught me about Algeria’s history, from Roman ruins to French occupations. Everything was pre-arranged, we even had police escorts in some places. My highlight was undoubtedly the 4-day desert camping. Very few can say they went so deep into the Sahara Desert. We traveled by 4×4 to see numerous ancient cave drawings, hike massive sand dunes, and camp under the stars… all the meals were delicious, cooked fresh. It was perfect. A time I will not forget, and I certainly could not have made it all happen on my own."

She embraced my 3 companions and myself with much care, protection, respect & love as senior women and affectionately referred to us as “Mama”, which gave rise to us truly adopting her as our Ghanian daughter and genuine blessings of being family. She was very kind and generous to ensure our needs where met at all times. She had an amazing and thorough knowledge of all the regions of Ghana, its different languages and cultures which provided us with much education, history and to experience the different people of Ghana in every aspect of life. There was never a concern or fear or doubt that we were truly in safe hands. Samwell, our soft spoken, warmhearted and expert driver was very meticulous in maneuvering some of the undesirable roads to give us the best comfort. I would sincerely and strongly recommend Continent Tours to anyone wishing to visit Ghana and especially for those that desire to learn their ancestry. "I just returned from Aurora’s NW passage trip from Greenland to Nome Alaska. I wish to warn potential passengers that out of 26 sea days, we had 10 landings, out of which we were free to walk on our own once. The director,Ashley, told passengers on day one that if they disobeyed her, they would be confined to their cabin. When we got to Alaska, Aurora had not hired sufficient personnel with US licenses to allow for any landings. So we were 60 miles out at sea for almost a week and could not even see the shoreline. Much of the controlling behavior of Ashley was in the guise of safety from the polar bears, but her behavior was over the top. Also the head bear rifle guy, Nils, screamed at passengers on shore at the top of his lungs when they were a few feet off a poorly marked trail in a flat landscape with at least a mile visibility in all directions. He also screamed at passengers to rush over uneven ground because of a bear in the distance. This is just plain dangerous for 70 -80 year old passengers. I have traveled extensively, including an Antarctic cruise, and never had such an unpleasant experience. Even considered bailing out from Cambridge Bay partway through the cruise. Customers beware. You have been warned."
