What travelers are saying

"When I signed up for the Wonders of Costa Rica at a slower pace. The hotel listed in the itinerary for day 8&9 was a 4 star hotel on the beach called the Punta Leona. I'm not sure when but Road Scholar changed the Punta Leona hotel for the 3 star Villa Lapis Jungle hotel. I was shocked when we drove up to this dump. Others in the group wanted to leave and find another hotel. I had black bugs under that shower mat and the shower did not drain, Spiders on the wall and roaches coming out of the cracked in the bathroom. The bed was a thin mattress on a board and was hard as a rock. The food they put out was covered with a wrap but 15 minutes after the plastic wrap was removed it was covered with fruit flies. I passed on the open food bowls. The walls were real thin and the neighbors were real noisy until 11:30 pm. Others in the group complained about the late night noise, spiders and toilet seat being broken. I'm not sure where this place gets 3 stars. After I saw the roaches, I give it a 1 star. Road Scholar put us up in beautiful hotels and then they take us here. You can do better than this Road Scholar. The end the story, Road Scholar customer service called me about my concern and said they have never used the Punta Leona, (I sent her my itinerary that said PUNTA LEONA). She also said they haven't had any complaints about this Villa Lapis dump. After her call, I'm not sure if I'll ever travel with Road Scholar again. Enough said...."

What travelers are saying

"I have been to Greece with America Israel Tours several times over the last few years and each trip has been an amazing experience. From the super-efficient & knowledgeable cruise escorts that help us maximize our time on the islands to the beautiful hotels, expert guides, and wonderful itineraries, touring Greece with AIT for a Biblical tour enriched my knowledge of the Apostle Paul's time there and showed me the best of Biblical Greece. Visiting Ephesus in Turkey was one of the most amazing experiences - it's an incredible site! I plan group tours to the Holy Land countries and have used AIT for our ministry trips since 2018. I am very happy with the planning, communication, availability, quality of services in the countries, and every other aspect of executing our mission with America Israel/Greece tours. They really care about each person and all the details, to a degree that leaves everyone more than satisfied. Before the tours begin, while we travel, and after we get home, AIT does an amazing job. My travelers rate the value and satisfaction of our tours 5/5 every time!"

What travelers are saying

"BUYER BEWARE!!! This company has a policy that if THEY cancel your trip…THEY get to keep your money and you get a credit the company. They cancelled my first trip..found out the hard way about their policy. Booked a trip…then had left over money so booked another…which they cancelled…again. Surprisingly…this time they offered a refund, but only gave me back the money I had put down…not what was left of “my credit”. So now I am forced to do business with a company I no longer wish to, that picks and chooses when to follow their own policy!! There are plenty of other travel agencies with similar tours…don’t give these guys your hard earned money for them to keep."

What travelers are saying

"Egypt – June 10 to June 16 We had planned this trip over almost two years. After looking at offerings from various vendors, we selected Memphis Tours. In a brief high-level summary, they did NOT disappoint! In rating this adventure on a 5-star scale, 5. One of my bucket list is to see the ancient wonders of the world. I’ve been to the site of the Colossus of Rhodes, the Acropolis in Athens, Colosseum in Rome, Machu Pichu, Great Wall of China, Stone Henge and now the antiques of Egypt. We structured this trip to see a lot; the Pyramids of Giza; The temples of Aswan and the temples of Luxor including the Valley of Kings. In a word WOW! To be up close, touch and otherwise experience these monuments some almost 5,000-year-old, is mind blowing. To understand the context in human history is amazing. Our trip included a mini-cruise on the Nile (WOW!). The boat the “Minerva” was good; including accommodations, staff and food. We flew from Cairo to Aswan, caught the boat, sailed from Aswan to Luxor; then flew back to Cairo to go home. Flights were included in our package. In the hope of not botching names, I’d like to call out three people: “Menna” who was our coordinator and overall “boss” of our trip. This young lady can do it all. “Mai” who was our guide in Cairo/Giza, so smart, feisty and knowledgeable in all things ancient Egypt. Lastly, but NOT least is “Waled” who took us to Aswan and Luxor. His passion and knowledge are amazing. I’m just glad there wasn’t a test after. Their in-depth knowledge of not just facts, but the whys are incredible. Memphis Tours – be glad you have these folks on your team!"
