"I didn’t know what to expect on a group trip, but this ended up being one of the best vacations we’ve ever been on! Being an intense planner, I had a hard time giving the reins away, but it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Annie truly found the best of the best in Italy! We felt like we were on a luxury, private vacation that was perfectly customized for us! The tours, the food, the accommodations, while booked for the group, truly felt personalized, making the experience absolutely magical and so much fun! Not to mention, it was a huge value! Being in finance, I 'ran the number'. For accommodations, daily transportation, daily meals, and excursions, I thought the cost made sense. What I didn't factor in was the intimate experience. We ate amazing meals in local's private homes! Our tours were limited to our group and we we're shuffled into tour buses but privately chartered luxury vans to travel between destinations. It's hard to vacation without these amenities these days, I hope The Table Less Traveled continues to offer a new tour yearly, or else my vacations will be limited. :)"

We visited Rome, Sorrento, Pompeii, Capri island, Amalfi Coast, Florence and Lucca and experienced many of the activities and sites through private tours arranged through Amal Italia with the most knowledgeable, accommodating guides who worked together with the transfer personnel to make it all happen seemlessly. On trips to the Vatican, Uffizi Gallery and Pompeii as examples, the tour guides knew exactly how to condense the time spent to focus on the key highlights, telling the history while linking the intricacies and nuances of the artifacts being shown. Whether it was booking a cooking class in Sorento, visit to a vineyard, spa massage in Pompeii or a dinner overlooking the sea, Alessio did his utmost best to make this truly a memorable experience. We would not have been able to cover half the activities on our itinerary were it not for the very professional, flexible, knowledgeable and accommodating help on logistics and events through Amal Italia.
