"I just returned from a short stay at Manda Bay. It was superb! The staff was so accommodating ! At my request my large spacious cottage was located close to activities, due to a mobilty problem, the food was sensational, Superb bar service (found Kenya Gold), The seaview accommodations (blue/green waters and sugar white sand were just breath- taking! I even spend time cooling off in the pool --- poolside bar service (delivered from the bar). The accommodations are great for friends, lovers, honeymooners, families and even enemies. The locations are designed to accommodate all. The Manda Ruins on the island are interesting, I was amazed with the visit to see friendly buffalo at the watering hole - was amazing! The exzhlirating speed boat transfer to/from the airport gave a great island view as we arrived to a warm reception by the Mand Bay Resort team. I can't say enough about team."

"We traveled to Rwanda with the sole intention of going in search for the gorillas. I can only say that its been the best experience of my life. Anyway, we knew that the Virunga Lodge was going to be our base camp but we really dind´t know what to expect. I usually do my research before going out search of new adventures, but in this case, i din´t. This "somewhat rustic" hotel exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, the food delicious, the room was perfect but in my opinion, all of this great attributes were somehow diminished by the espectacular views of the lake and the volcanoes from almost every corner of the hotel. I truly recommend this hotel along with the gorilla trekking experience."
