"Went on the March 24 2024 Mexican Riviera Cruise. Everything was well set up and managed. Even had extras like wifi and meal upgrades. The highlight was in port seeing two smaller HAL ships. Looking forward to my next cruise through Uncommon Journeys."

What travelers are saying

"Traveling all the way from Sweden we were looking for a way to hike out in the wilderness with a group and we found this great trip. It takes you out in the amazing nature of Canada away from the bus tourists. Jennie and Chris, our guides, really did an excellent job and were both very knowledgable and fun. Overall it was a great experience and I can highly recommend it. Why did you choose this trip? I wanted to hike in the wilderness. What would your advice be to potential travelers? Enjoy! What was the highlight of your trip? To hike out in the amazing nature. # About Me Avid Adventurer ✔ Yes, I recommend this trip."

What travelers are saying

"Sean and Alex were the solid foundation to a great trip in Katmai where the foundation wasn’t always solid! I would highly recommend a trip with AAA. With Nico on logistics, you can’t go wrong."

What travelers are saying

"My wife and I were on the Smithsonian Journeys Splendors of Australia and New Zealand between April 13 and May 2, 2018. Smithsonian is rated by this site as Luxury travel. However, Smithsonian "farms out" the logistics for their trip to Odysseys Unlimited. Odysseys booked within country air travel with the lowest cost air carriers. Flights were cancelled from Ayers Rock to Sydney and from Queenstown New Zealand to Rotorua. Another flight was significantly delayed so that we did not arrive at our Christchurch destination until 2:00 am, making for a really tired next day. Odysseys Unlimited compensated us $400 per person for missing a day in Sydney and paid for an excursion in Auckland for missing Rotorua. This was wholly inadequate, given that these were highlights of the trip. In addition, our tour guide was rude to several people on the trip. If Smithsonian Journeys is truly a luxury travel outfit, as we had believed, then they would not be farming out travel logistics to such a chinch company as Odysseys Unlimited. We will think twice about traveling with Smithsonian again, and so should others."

What travelers are saying

"I enrolled early in the French Art Voyage because of the caliber of the sites visited: no visit to the overly crowded Louvre but rather to Monet’s Giverny and Cezanne’s studio. A preliminary itinerary I just received has no mention of Giverny so I went online to be sure it was still open. It is. I checked Cezanne’s studio and found it closed for renovation. I called Road Scholar to ask why Giverny was canceled and did they mean Cezanne perhaps. A customer service rep was clueless. I spelled Giverny to her twice. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, returned and said someone would contact me. I told her to wait a minute. I had more. Was Cezanne’s studio to be canceled as well.? Five days later I get an email from Judith telling me Giverny was not officially on the itinerary, Cezanne’s studio had to be removed due to renovation and I could not see the Mona Lisa!!! I responded saying I sensed some bait and switch also reminding her I NEVER asked about the Mona Lisa. She replied telling me how to arrange Giverny for myself and reiterating that I could not see the Mona Lisa!!!! I have experienced ageism but not gaslighting like this. I am not an old fool who imagined Giverny on the itinerary. I am not an old fool insisting on a Mona Lisa that was not. Road Scholar has no business marketing to elders with staff like this."
