    Yala peak is situated north of Kathmandu in Langtang Himalaya range near the border of Tibet at the elevation of 5,732 meters. This is one of the lowest trekking peaks and the easiest in Nepal. Our journey starts once we leave Kathmandu and drive to Syabru Besi which is about 7 to 8 hours by bus and we follow the trekking route of Langtang valley and Kyangjin Gompa. Once we pass Kyangjin Gompa then we will turn north to see Yala Peak. Yala offers you a spectacular view of Langtang, Lirung, Langsisha Ri, Gangchepo, Dorche Pakpa and many more mountain ranges from Nepal and Tibet.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu International Airport (1,345 m).

Our airport representative will be receiving you at Tribhuvan International airport, Kathmandu and s/he will be displaying an Ace the Himalaya signboard outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle.

Day 02: Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Day 03: Drive to Syabru Besi (1,462 m) by Local Bus - 8 hours.

Day 05: Trek to Langtang Village (3,307m) - 5 hours.

Day 06: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa (3,798 m) - 4 hours.

Today is a shorter walk but enough for acclimatization. The surroundings are interesting and we pass the famous Cheese factory. This beautiful valley lies in the lap of the Langtang Lirung, a valley worth exploring and lots of small peaks to climb.

Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa exploration day.

Day 08: Trek to Yala peak Base camp (4,400 m) - 6 hours.

To reach Yala Base Camp, you trek along the rocky glacier trail. You will be quite taken back by the views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and others. For today the accommodation will be in a tented camp and the food will be cooked by our professional camp cook.

Day 09: Summit Yala Peak (5,732 m) and back to Kyangjin Gompa.

Today is our main adventure day. An early start in the morning takes us to climb Pisang peak depending on weather conditions. At the summit of Yala peak, you will be stunned by the panoramic views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung and many Tibetan mountains.

Day 10: Spare day in case of bad weather to climb Yala Peak.

This is the spare day for the climb just in case of the bad weather. Or we can have the rest day at the Kyanjin Gompa, visit the Langtang Glacier etc.

Day 11: Trek back to Lama Hotel (2,500 m) - 5.30 hours.

Day 12: Trek to Sybru Besi (1,462 m) - 5 hours.

Leaving the mountains behind us, our descent takes us towards Syabru Besi, where we started the trek about a week ago.

Day 13: Drive back to Kathmandu by Local bus - 8 hours.

After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu from Syabru Besi which will take some 8-9 hours by bus or Land cruiser depending on the group size.

Day 14: Leisure day and Farewell Dinner in Kathmandu.

This is the extra day in Kathmandu for relaxing and some shopping. If you are interested in continuing to Chitwan Jungle Safari, River Rafting Adventure, Kathmandu Shopping Tour or Scenic Everest Flight, you can continue to do so.

Day 15: Transfer for your final flight departure.
