Itinerary
Your driver will meet you at Dublin Airport. Your welcome to Ireland starts with an introductory tour around Dublin to see the main thoroughfares of O’Connell Street and Nassau Street and some lovely parks.
Travel south through the stunning Wicklow Mountains. Arrive in Kilkenny and explore the Medieval Mile with winding streets, medieval houses, and quirky pubs that come alive at night with live music. (B)
Head south through rich farming areas and bustling towns to Cobh, a picturesque waterside village known as the last port of call for the ill-fated Titanic voyage in 1912. Journey west to the bustling town Killarney to check into your hotel and perhaps enjoy an evening of ballads, stories, and camaraderie. (B)
Spend the day exploring the beauty of the Dingle Peninsula. Drive along the south shore for vistas of heathery mountains, sandy beaches, and rocky headlands. Stop in the seaside village of Dingle to visit the delightful pubs, try fresh seafood caught just yards away, or sample the local “produce” at Dingle’s very own brewery and distillery. (B)
Drive north along the Wild Atlantic Way to admire the rugged coastline as it leads up to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher. Stop off in the nearby village of Doolin, popular for traditional pubs, fresh catch, and a welcoming atmosphere. (B)
Travel along the shores of Galway Bay to the tour bustling city of Galway. Continue through Connemara, a region known for constantly changing skies and subtle colors. Continue to picturesque Westport, a hidden gem on the west coast with a tranquil river, scenic walks, and hiking. This evening enjoy a pub crawl to experience Irish culture. (B)
Travel through the heart of Ireland and perhaps visit a whiskey distillery such as Tullamore Dew & Kilbeggan. Journey to Dublin to check into your hotel, enjoy some free time to sightsee, and visit some of the nearby pubs. (B)
Spend the day in Dublin using your included voucher to enjoy an independent open-top bus tour and a visit to one of Dublin’s top attractions -- Guinness Storehouse, Teeling Distillery, EPIC Ireland, or the General Post Office Museum. (B)
