Day 8: Free time / Optional hike to Farak Ri (5000m)
Today is left free for you to make the most of your surroundings. For those feeling energetic still, there is the option of an early start to walk up to the top of Farak Ri, a smidgeon under 5000m. The walk to the top should take 2-3 hours, and the early morning views are fantastic, taking in 4 of the 6 highest peaks in the world - Everest, Lhotse, Makalu and Cho Oyu.
