Fly to Heho, the gateway to Inle Lake. Travel by long tailed to Phaungdaw U Pagoda, where the Buddhas have been covered with so much gold leaf they look like balls! There is so much to see on the lake from floating gardens, fishermen and stilted villages where cottage industries such as silk/cotton weaving, blacksmithing, and paper making support the communities.
