Its remarkable silhouette paint the backdrop of this scenic and diverse exploration of Provence. During this Provence hiking trip, the trip starts in Chateauneuf du Pape, with the famous Chateauneuf du pape wineries to visit! The best way to discover Provence vineyards is by foot, with lots of wine-tasting opportunities, strolling between the gnarled vines from one estate to the next. Optional: go for a half-day’s guided wine tour Provence with a local wine expert During this self guided walking tour, you then continue to the perched villages of Seguret, Gigondas, Le Barroux, all the way to Malaucene. You approach the Dentelles de Montmirail, a set of jagged limestone teeth, and walk towards the foot of the Mont Ventoux through orchards and vineyards, with extraordinary panoramas and a great diversity of landscapes. Your trip end in Vaison la Romaine’s stunning archaeological site.
