The day starts early 07:00am and will be dedicated to the visit of the famous Cinque Terre, the most characteristic villages of the Liguria region also famous for their natural beauty, scenic trails, spectacular coast line and sunny beaches. On the way to Cinque Terre we will stop in Pisa to allow you to visit the icon of Italy, the famous Leaning Tower. We'll be back to Florence at 8:30pm.

The tour ends in Venice at 10:00am but feel free to spend the day in complete relax in Venice or continue towards your next destination. If you need to return back to Rome we can organise the train tickets in advance for our passengers. Make sure you inform us in advance about your travel plans in order to help you as much as possible.

The total tour cost includes the tour price (regular or promotional) and the compulsory local payment. The promotional price is subject to change. Check directly with the operator for the latest price offer. The tour operator requires you to pay only the tour price to purchase your travel. The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

What's excluded
- Flights: Meet us at the hostel and we will start from there. If you arrive a day earlier or wants to stay a day longer, let us know and we can organise the accommodation for you.
- City taxes: Starting from April 1st 2012 all clients staying in any hotels/ hostels / campsites in Italy must pay a city tax. The fee is compulsory and needs to be paid directly at check in. In general is $1.20 up to $4.20 per person per night depending on the accommodation and location. This fee is between the client and the accommodation.
- Meals: Meals where not specified are not included however our guides will always have great recommendations about local and affordable restaurants for delicious meals.
- Entry tickets to museums and monuments which are not included in our walking tours.
- Local Transport ( buses, taxi, metro, water boat, shuttle buses ): The destinations of interest are easy to reach by foot. Local transport if requested is not included in the price but tickets can be purchases on spot.
Accommodation
Type: 6 nights in our favourite budget accommodations. 2N in Rome in a 6/8 bed shared dorm ( hostel ) - 3N in Florence in a 6/8 bed shared dorm ( hostel ) - 1N in Venice ( hostel or camping village ). Private accommodation is available too.
Short breaks and holiday adventures:
The short breaks and the holiday adventures includes several services from accommodation, transport, assistance, tours, ec.. The cancellation policy of these products are not the same of the day tours.
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing to Travel on a Budget to info@italyonabudgettours.com. Upon cancellation you will be liable to pay a fee to cover the estimate of cost and expenses incurred by us in the terms of the schedule set out hereunder. This is expressed as a percentage of the holiday price and is calculated as follows:
30 days or more prior to departure: 0% of the tour fare
29 – 20 days: 30% of the tour fare
20 – 16 days: 50% of the tour fare
15 – 0 days: 100% of the tour fare
For online bookings, the refund will be authorized and the money will be refunded directly back in the card used to book in 5 working days. For the bookings made with Travel on a Budget directly either by bank transfer or credit card, a 7% processing fee will be applied on top of the percentage above. No refunds will be made in respect of any unused portion of a ticket or partially completed trip.
