Our journey will then follow a steep river valley to Namche Bazar which is the official gateway to Khumbu region, Surrounded by beautiful Himalayas the beauty of Namche Bazar will surely leave you spell bound. Taking a day of rest in Namche can help you to adapt the altitude which will help you to carry out the remaining journey in a comfortable manner. This trek will give you a chance to explore the surrounding areas and villages of Khumjung. You can even visit the school established by Edmund Hillarys Himalayan Trust and also the hospitals in these villages. We can continue our Base Camp trek with a stopover for the night at the magnificent Tangboche monastery. You will be able to witness amazing unbelievable views from here. The base camp trip will continue to the north through the Dingbuche, one of the original Sherpa settlements in this region. After a day of rest in Dingbuche, specifically for the climate adaptation you continue trekking to the base camp, the landscapes will get more remote and desolate as we tend to get closer to the base camp.
