Few destinations on Earth can rival amazing South Africa, with its alluring mix of breathtaking scenery, stirring history, and exhilarating adventure. Our multisport trip showcases South Africa's natural and cultural highlights, full of opportunities to discover its incredible land, people, and wildlife. Our journey begins in spectacular Cape Town, nestled between the sandstone cliffs of Table Mountain and the deep blue Atlantic coastline. Here, we kayak to an African Penguin colony, cycle through the beautiful Cape Winelands, and hike to the summit of Table Mountain for a stunning panorama. Next, we fly northeast to the province of KwaZulu-Natal. We hike from our hotel into the heart of the Drakensberg Mountains—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—among jagged peaks, towering pinnacles, and deep gorges. Ending our journey, we seek out the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo) in the renowned Sabi Sand Reserve, bordering Kruger National Park. Throughout our adventure, we sample the flavors of local cuisine and spend our evenings in comfortable lodging ranging from charming guesthouses to deluxe safari camps.
