What's this trip about?

From street jugglers to high opera, international comedians to classic and cutting-edge theater, there is nowhere on earth as vibrant and stimulating as the Edinburgh Festival. The medieval city (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Georgian New Town are star attractions in themselves with their twisting historic streets, graceful squares and award-winning modern architecture, but in August the circus truly comes to town with some 2,500 shows jostling for attention. Join independent theater producer and international director Giles Ramsay for unique insight into this one-of-a-kind event. With careful guidance, special guests and plenty of time to discover on your own, you’ll get the very best out of this summer’s festival.
