What's this trip about?

You'll experience challenging, technical singletrack, big climbs and thrilling downhills, and beautiful remote Mayan villages where life continues much the same as it has for hundreds of years. Finish it off at the spectacular springs at Semuc Champey, one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Not for the faint of heart - this trip is for experienced and advanced riders only! Please note that due to the remote nature of this trip, some of the hotels will be a little more rustic than you may be used to. This Ride is for you if you are an expert rider and mountain bike at least 2-3 times/week. You can handle very technical terrain and can climb up to 5,000 vertical feet (1500m) in a day. You've got legs of steel and lungs of iron. You love to ride and ride and ride. You're open to roughing it a little bit if it means you'll get to see places well of the beaten track that few other people see (but you still want a hot shower and a clean bed at the end of the day).
