Our 5 day progressive surf course at surf camp will have you well prepared for the waves in Byron. This course includes surfing lessons every day and is designed for absolute beginners. We teach paddling, standing up, dropping into waves and riding across them. Plus surf etiquette and board design.

The total tour cost includes the tour price (regular or promotional) and the compulsory local payment. The promotional price is subject to change. Check directly with the operator for the latest price offer. The tour operator requires you to pay only the tour price to purchase your travel. The compulsory local payment will be paid when you join the trip. All prices are based on double, twin or triple share occupancy. Solo passengers will be accommodated in a double, twin or triple room according to availability with a passenger(s) of the same gender. Single supplement only needs to be paid if the passenger does not want to share and requests their own room. Discounts can only be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added at a later date, regardless of any changes made to the original booking.

Accommodation
Spend 4 nights in our purpose built Surf Camp, only metres from the beach. Here, you’ll live a laid back surfer’s lifestyle with your surf instructors. Our Surf Camp accommodation is fit with a swimming pool, hot showers, DVD movies, hammocks, internet, laundry and cafe. Rooms are 6 berth. Upgrades to to a private/double room can be requested at the time of booking. Private accommodation is generally $120 extra per night and is dependent upon availability. For this package, private accommodation is only available on the first 4 nights.
You’ll spend 2 days and 1 night surfing and partying in Byron Bay. Byron Bay YHA is in the heart of town only a short walk to surfing beaches and other main attractions. Facilities include self contained kitchen, swimming pool, internet, TV, games room and more.
SCA reserves the right to cancel any trip in which case a full refund will be made. Any change of date outside of 1WEEK from trip commencement will incur a $100 administration fee per person. Non attendance or cancellations less than 1WEEK prior to trip commencement – no refund will be given. Any change of date later than 1WEEK prior to trip commencement is treated as a cancellation.
