Itinerary

Arrive in Rome. On your day of arrive, we will get acclimated to the city and provide some time for rest. We will visit the Colosseum. Introduced in 80 AD, holding over 50,000 people, this grand arena witnessed many brutal battles. Today, though the gladiators, creatures and emperors have gone, it still stands tall.

Today we will travel to Florence. We will be driving though the scenic Tuscan countryside, taking in several picturesque locations along the way. Once in Florence we will visit Piazzale Michelangelo, the best and most famous viewpoint of Florence. The square was designed by Poggi in the 1860s.

On the way back to Rome, we will visit the town of Orvieto. Discover this medieval umbrian city, with its Duomo and ancient town center.
