Breathtaking Montenegro

Day 1 London - Dubrovnik/Tivat - Budva Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to London Gatwick Airport for a direct, scheduled British Airways flight to Dubrovnik, Croatia or easyJet flight to Tivat, Montenegro. On arrival, we transfer to our hotel (an approximate 2-hour drive from Dubrovnik), where we have a four-night stay at the Hotel Avala Resort & Villas (4T), Budva, located opposite the old town. We include dinner at the hotel. Day 2 Budva This morning we have a half-day walking tour of Budva’s old town, which includes a visit to the Archaeological Museum to view artefacts from the Roman era excavated from the vicinity. Enjoy free time to stroll at leisure around Budva. In the afternoon, we set off for an included excursion to UNESCO-protected Kotor, where we visit the old town and the charming Cathedral of Saint Tryphon. We continue to Risan and the fabulous Bay of Kotor. We return to Budva, where dinner is included at the hotel. Day 3 Budva Take a day at leisure or join a full-day optional Montenegro tour, in which you can enjoy further scenery and gain a further sense of the beautiful Montenegrin countryside. Dinner is included, back at our hotel. Day 4 Budva Spend today at leisure or embark on a full-day optional excursion to Albania. Albania lies along the Adriatic coast, bordered by Greece to the south and Montenegro to the north; and on this trip you can experience its unique character and landscape. Day 5 Budva - Lake Skadar National Park - Virpazar - Kolašin After breakfast, we say farewell to the stunning Montenegrin Adriatic coast and drive, via St Stefan and Petrovac, to Lake Skadar National Park, on the border with Albania. We visit the small fishing village of Virpazar, which straddles a river that flows into Lake Skadar. Here, we board a small boat to explore the fantastic flora and fauna of this region, as well as its fantastic scenery. After an included lunch in Virpazar, we take an unforgettable journey into the mountains as we drive via Podgorica (Montenegro’s capital) and Moraca River Canyon to Kolašin town and the Hotel Bianca Resort & Spa (4T), your base for the next three nights, where dinner is included. Day 6 Kolašin We have a full-day excursion today through the Montenegrin Mountains and Durmitor National Park, with an included lunch. We travel via the spectacular Tara River Canyon to visit the town of Žabljak. Located on the altitude of 1464 metres, it is the highest town in the Balkans. We visit Black Lake, from where we have a fantastic view of the highest mountain in Montenegro - Durmitor. We return to the hotel, where we have an included dinner. Day 7 Kolašin We enjoy a half-day excursion to Biogradska Gora National Park and Lake. Spend the afternoon at leisure in Kolašin. Day 8 Kolašin - Dubrovnik/Tivat - London We journey through the Montenegrin countryside from Kolašin to Tivat or Dubrovnik, for a direct, scheduled British Airways or easyJet flight to London Gatwick Airport. On arrival you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
