Itinerary

Day 1 Southampton Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Southampton, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Braemar (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing. Days 2-3 At sea Two days at sea provides the perfect time to gently ease into life on board, as we sail towards Denmark. Day 4 Copenhagen, Denmark We arrive early to experience the irresistible charm of Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. With its vibrant, friendly atmosphere, wonderful culture and beautiful architecture, Copenhagen is a Scandinavian visitor haven. The narrow, cosmopolitan streets are always busy with welcoming locals and are lined with colourful cafes, bars, shops and places to eat. Day 5 At sea Day 6 Helsinki, Finland Helsinki has a vibrant yet laid back atmosphere and a stroll through the city is an exciting experience. There are large park areas, forests, beautiful lakes and over 100 kilometres of coastline to explore, so there are plenty of places to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of this stunning part of the world. There's a UNESCO-listed sea fortress to explore just a short distance from the shore. Senate Square is one of Helsinki's most historic and interesting areas, home to fine examples of neoclassical architecture - including unique designs from renowned architect Carl Ludvig Engel. Days 7-8 St Petersburg, Russia (overnight) The jewel in the Baltic crown and Russia's most European city, St Petersburg is utterly captivating, with Baroque palaces, wide elegant streets, ornate bridges and broad curving canals. The city is built on 40 islands at the mouth of the River Neva. The main street, Nevsky Prospekt, is 5km long and lined with cafés, bars and restaurants mixed in with upmarket hotels and sumptuous shops. On Neva embankment, the Winter Palace, with over a thousand rooms, is the most magnificent of six buildings that make up the Hermitage museum. Day 9 At sea A leisurely day at sea. Day 10 Riga, Latvia Riga has been an important centre for trade, finance and culture for centuries and offers an experience of historic architecture. Look out for its medieval castles and churches, the urban structure of later periods, the Art Nouveau, and the wooden architecture of the 19th century. This historic centre is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Day 11 At sea Day 12 Travemünde, Germany Beautiful and historic Travemünde is a coastal suburb of Lübeck, a magnificent UNESCO-listed town steeped in antiquity and former capital of the Hanseatic League. Home to many wealthy merchants during the Hanseatic era, it has an array of wonderful gabled houses, stunning churches and public buildings with huge gates. These monuments of a by-gone era have to be seen to be believed and all are within easy reach of Travemünde. Day 13 Kiel Canal Transit The world’s busiest artificial waterway is almost 100 km long and runs right through Schleswig-Holstein, from Brunsbuttel to Kiel-Holtenau, linking the North Sea with the Baltic. Today the Kiel Canal is the basis for the trade between the countries of the Baltic area and the rest of the world. Day 14 At sea Relax aboard Braemar as we sail back to UK shores. Day 15 Southampton We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
