Day 1 Liverpool Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Liverpool, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Black Watch (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing. Day 2-4 At sea Day 5 Praia da Vitoria, Terceira, Azores Arrive this morning into Praia da Vitoria, a town on one of the nine emerald-green islands of the Azores discovered by the Portuguese in the 15th century. The stunning natural harbour is overlooked by the impressive 16th century Fort of Santa Catarina. It has plenty of shops and restaurants to enjoy, as well as a number of historic buildings and monuments - including the 15th century Igreja Matriz de Santa Cruz. Day 6 Horta, Faial The tranquil port of Horta stands on pretty Faial Island. The island’s volcanic origins have created an ideal setting of craters, lakes, sheer cliffs and lush green valleys - quite a sight for anyone’s eyes. Day 7 Ponta Delgada, São Miguel We sail into Ponta Delgada this morning to be greeted by its cosmopolitan atmosphere. With a fine selection of parks, narrow cobbled streets and squares, a modern marina and waterside cafés, you can look out to the enchanting mountain plains from the lakeside edge. Day 8-9 At sea Day 10 Lisbon Beautiful palaces, captivating museums, ancient castles and superb bridges all add to the beauty of the city of Lisbon. Visit the UNESCO-listed fortress, Belém Tower, a monument and symbol of Portugal’s Age of Discovery, built during the 16th century for defence. Day 11 Leixões (Porto) Today, we arrive in Portugal’s largest city and major seaport, Leixões, a place preserved in ancient roots and pride. Embark on a short journey to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Porto which exudes beauty from every angle with its picturesque pastel-coloured houses with red-tiled roofs, traditional Baroque churches and historic neo-classical buildings. Day 12-13 At sea Day 14 Liverpool We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
