Reykjavik and the Fjords of Greenland

Day 1 Dover Titan’s VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your journey to Dover, where our staff will greet you and assist with embarking Boudicca (3T+) in preparation for a late evening sailing. Days 2-4 At sea Time to get acquainted with the excellent facilities on board. Days 5-6 Reykjavik, Iceland (overnight) Reykjavik - Iceland’s stunning coastal capital and cultural centre - is the world’s most northerly capital. The city combines colourful buildings, impulsive, creative people, extraordinary design, and some of the country’s most beautiful natural wonders. There are many interesting museums and breathtaking natural wonders, all within easy reach. Perhaps visit the Blue Lagoon Spa or Thingvellir National Park and Althing - the world’s oldest parliament. We dock overnight providing plenty of time to explore the city and its surrounds on those long summer days. Day 7 At sea Day 8 Cruising Prins Christian Sund and Torssukátak, Greenland Framed by soaring snow-topped mountains, rocky cliffs and rolling hills, Prins Christian Sund separates mainland Greenland and the Cape Farewell Archipelago. Later we glide along one of Greenland’s most beautiful waterways, the enticing Torssukátak Fjord. Day 9 Qaqortoq Qaqortoq is the largest town in Greenland with plenty to do from art and culture to kayaking and hot springs. On hot summer days you may be tricked into thinking that there is a sub-arctic Riviera, a special Greenlandic version with icebergs in the bay and frolicking whales in the fjord. Ship to shore tender service. Day 10 Narsarsuaq Narsarsuaq is one of Greenland’s most popular destinations, a place that fills you with excitement from the moment you arrive. Guaranteed a friendly welcome, this captivating area is home to diverse wildlife, vast fjords and the stunning Narsarsuaq Glacier. Day 11 Nanortalik - Cruising Tasermuit Fjord Nanortalik sits on a small island at the end of a fjord, surrounded by glorious snow-covered mountains. The well-preserved historic quarter has an unusual wooden church. Later, we cruise to the stunning Tasermiut Fjord, a perfect example of the power of Mother Nature. Days 12-14 At sea Day 15 Kirkwall, Orkney Islands The Orkney Islands’ capital is vibrant, busy and also their largest town. Shops, bars and restaurants are in abundance and for wildlife enthusiasts there is no place better as seals, puffins and dolphins are a regular sight. Perhaps visit a whisky distillery or find out about Kirkwall’s 10,000-year history at one of the many museums. Day 16 At sea Day 17 Dover We disembark after breakfast and you will be met and guided to your Titan vehicle, for the journey home.
